EDIT: Alright, on the opposite side of this, I sort of teared up a little bit when I fired up my Rom copy of Star Ocean: The second story on my PSX emulator.

My childhood was forged by that game... It's my top favorite game ever

I was kinda sad when I thought Snake was gonna kill himself at the end of MGS4, but that's about it. A lot of games have interesting stories, but I've never gotten really sad from any of them. Oh, wait, I got pretty sad at the end of Killzone 2 because of Rico's overwhelming stupidity. He royally fucked the ISA over. Seriously. Killing Visari was the dumbest fucking thing he could have done.

I got quite upset over Wrex's fate in Mass Effect. Didn't cry, though.

Why? What happened to him? Cause I don't remember him ever dying. Wait... Did you kill him when he acted up in the camp before you destroyed Saren's facility? Cause you know you can prevent that from happening if your persuasion skills are high enough.

I've been angry more times than that though, often to controller tossing levels of rage. The fields tests confirm the 360 controller is remarkably robust, being able to withstand sudden impacts with the floor and wall.

Easy decision for me. Ashley. I liked her more. I didn't really like Kaiden and Ashley was way more helpful with all of her weapons skills.

The ending of Shadow of The Colossus broke my heart.

Really? If anything the ending repaired my heart. It was still incredibly moving, but in a good way. The part that made me sad was earlier in the game.

It was the part when the bridge collapsed under Agro that broke my heart. I hadn't realised how attached I'd become to that horse over the course of the game; I just always assumed he'd be there. I willingly admit that I cried after that cutscene.

But then the ending came along, and all was well again. When Mono was standing at the shrine, and I heard Agro walking towards it, I cried again, but this time it was because I was so damn happy that he wasn't dead. Better yet, Wander was able to bring Mono back, and was given a second chance at life.

The cutscene before the final Colossus broke my heart, but the final cutscene is one of the most life-affirming ones I've ever seen in a game.

Rage at times. Whole hearted love at others. Unending fascination at times, mixed in with chronic disbelief. Cried a few times, when appropriate, laughed evilly at the tragic shortcomings when they failed. Heart and soul, the whole lot. And, of course at times, something happens in games that just makes me start bawling with raucous, unstoppable laughter.

Near the end of Fable 2. Dog died. Mixture of intense rage and a sad, empty feeling because the dog was so integral right from the start.

When he was shot, all I thought was: "You did what?!" and proceeded to violently vaporize anything that so much as looked at me funny. The final 'boss' was not satisfying enough, I didn't feel I had mangled him enough for doing what he had, one shot just doesn't cut it.

But then I got the dog back, and all was good in the world.

The nice ending from Bioshock made me tear up a little at how life affirming it was.

Also the cut scene where Thrall and Grom Hellscream fight Mannoroth. I'm not ashamed to admit the ending stung my tear glands a bit.

Heavenly Sword, I actually felt real anger toward that really feminine sounding villain after he tried to kill Kai, my favorite character. I enjoyed every minute of that boss fight against him.

I was rather disgruntled really. I just started a new playthrough so that I could save him. The only game I've ever been emotionally compromised by was Kingdom Hearts, y'know that lump you get in your throat just before you cry? It gave me that a few times.

Yea, but Wander had basically lost his life. What made him Wander is gone. And that is sad, cause all he wanted to do was to save Mono and be together with her, and he never even got to see her come back to life. At least that's my perspective on the story. They didn't tell much of the story, but I assumed they loved each other, as in bf/gf love, since they seemed to be of close age to each other, and the small cutscenes really showed his feelings towards her.

Someone I know sympathized a lot with the colossi. And I can't say he's wrong. I mean, there that guy comes, wakes up the colossi from their sleep and stab them in the head. They're like "What!? I'm trying to sleep here! What did I ever do you!?".
