How important is your appearance to you?

It's important to me...in the sense of health..... when it comes to others that is....I rather not potentially mate with someone very sickly ( which I haven't...I was picky on that with my spouse)

looks for the sake of vanity...egh, thats not that high up at all....

I haven't really got much else going for me, I might as well dress nice.

Makeup, mouisturizer, lotion (they are different), hair brushing-straightening-styling, body mist, nice/matching clothes....The whole nine yards.

Boys can just slap on a t shirt and jeans, ruffle up you stupid short hair, and spray on some axe or whatever. Girls always need to like nice, or else she is totally judged as a slob, or ugly, etc. Its so unfair!

Hmm. Well, despite some indications that people (used) to find me attractive, I actually don't like the way I look.

I don't put much effort into the way I dress, but I do put a lot of effort into my face and hair care.

On the other hand, I can get really lazy, with as end result that my personal hygiene can tend to suffer for it...

So, bit of a mixed bag, I'd say. XD.

As long as I look neat- not "awesome", not like a slob, just neat- I'm fine. Usually that means clean shaven, hair not sticking up, clothes not in dissaray. Neat enough to walk into some of the slightly swankier parts of town as-is.

I dress nicely, take care of my hair and work out my body, though the last one is out of paranoia that ninjas will try and kill me. Ya gotta be fit to outrun ninja's.

Looking good gives me a confidence boost, a lot of people are happy with how they look, good for them, me, not so much, my body could look a lot better, if I stopped eating so much junk food. However my new gym program is starting to take effect, except on the stomach, still to much junk food.

I care about my body but I don't care about fashion. Jeans and a t-shirt are my favorite. As far as I'm concerned, if you're out of shape, the clothes just act as a poor cover-up job.

I like to look good, but fashion wise, I don't put much effort in, maybe 2 minutes in the morning to fix myself up. Body wise, I do try and keep in decent shape.

pretty much this. i hate my normal hair, and i dont suit short hair, so i have to have it slightly longer.
also stop saying what i want to say, then i can stop quoting you and looking like some internet stalker.

Not all that important really. Comfy clothes and a brush through my hair in the morning, no big beauty regime.
But if I'm really up to it I'll put on a teensy bit of eye liner.
I do look after myself though, make sure I'm presentable, hair nice and shiney and clean.
I just don't get all dressed up to go into town or to the shop or to school.
