Australia- a vast outback wasteland full of animals that are ether have claws and teeth or are poisonous, full of people like crocodile dundee basically everything is trying to kill you

well not many people live in the outback, we mainly live in cities on the coast and really we are very similar to america

though we DO have alot of poisonous things

New Zealand.

No, it's not all trees and grass, it's muddy-yellow hills and urban environments that smell like car fumes.

Scotland

Most people forget Scotland is an actual place and not some mythical country timelocked in the 13th century. Those that know it actually exists and resides comfortably in the present think we're all drunks.

Which isn't too far from the truth.

The Netherlands - Mostly pot smokers and farmers dressed in grey overralls and wooden clogs.

And I don't think we'd have it any other way.

Norway, we are pale, tall, snow everywhere, and polar bear roaming the streets. Also we got taken pretty quickly during WWII so I don't see much mention about our opposing force during that time (stopping the making of the A-bomb for one thing, with the help of british training and intelligence) sinking of the Donau (look it up) etc. also.

I have a horned helmet, and an axe ofcourse. And we export Metal and Fiddle music.

Oh, and we are such a passive nation for giving out the peace price etc. I don't know really, I feel we are being representet quite poorly to be honest.

Also: Fjords.
Don't forget that we are all a bunch of god - darn socialists.

England? I would rather like to think it's portrayed as a veritable medley of upper class, top hatted gentlemen dontcha know. What ho, pip pip and all that other tosh.

Regrettably, within the next 5 years I see the stereotype moving towards "Alreet, fuck aye wif a can o' cheap beer and mah ho wot ah shag. Ahm 12 init".

This very possible change of events saddens me.

When people think of england people think of your god awful teeth.
Where does this stereotype come from? I've always been confused by this.
I dunno, but I've seen a lot of English people with really bad teeth.

New Zealand. The land where the sheep is seen as an option sexually alongside people. In reality we just decide to be whoever makes a hint of success overseas.

Romania...Need I say more? An ex communist country, which is currently inhabited mostly by gypsies. It faces a great economic crisis, which could have been avoided, instead the populace was lied to. A corrupt justice system favors only the wealthy, and the police is as likely to beat you up more than the mugger who just stole your wallet. Instead most countries just know Romania for Vlad Tepes...ahem...Dracula. Oh and I mustn't forget:

Well i'm sorry but if you don't like the stereotype tell the people around you to stop living up to it :p.

OT: Australia, So if it's in media it's pretty much just Pandora from borderlands, if it's in the news you're likely hearing about how our government is Banning some awesome new game and if it's TF2 it's... *reads TF2 Comic* 100% correct. Yup.

First European kingdom with any democratic elements in their government? Us.
Sorry dude not true. First democracy was Athens and that was a shitty long time ago. And it was more of a democracy than the first polish which was a "Golden Liberty" which means that only nobles (10% of the polish commonwealth) can participate

Holland... so a lot of windmills and wooden shoes (which nobody has, and there aren't THAT many windmills here), and of course the famous word that everyone asks about: Amsterdam. And all of it's 'benefits'. If you say you're bored, they tell you to go see a hooker or something, they always say "Hell, if we had hookers and legal weed I'd know what to do, how the hell can you be bored?!" Sigh.

Negatively: The United States is usually treated as arrogant and stupid, but we're technically the bastard child of every other country.

We have disciplinary issues, I'll admit, but personally, I blame our parents.

Positively: We make big movies?

Netherlands. 15th richest country in the world, and yet we're too cheap to fight in Afganistan. Also we have the oldest standing army in the world, are known for cheese and windmills and when the sealevel rises any further we'd be fucked.(and very wet) Also we're the first truly capitalist country...(arguably)
