Ever seen Yes Man?

OT: Everyone knows that Australian men are vulgar, racist, alcoholic layabouts. We spend all our free time either riding, wrestling and/or fleeing the native wildlife, and have wives that look like semi-trailers.

As for you Canadians... you're pretty much the Kiwis of North America.

Anyways,

Foreigners seem to think that we are all fat white trash retards with cowboy hats and Southern drawls that are more irritating than nails on a chalkboard.

Domestically you'd never know there was more to the US than New York, California, and Texas.
Well, unless you happen to live in one of those. Spent my whole life in SoCal, and will forever complain about how bleak places are by comparison. I also, apparently, have an accent, about 5% foreign due to heavy TV watching, and 90% weird, due to myself.

I suppose that just leaves Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement. I guess "awkward with funny accents" sums us up. :/
I dunno, but The Lord of the Rings trilogy was, as one person said, the best advertisement the New Zealand travel agency ever had.

Yeah. New Zealand. The only other country that gives a monkey about us is Australia (save for some heavy-breathed remarks about "Hobbiton") and even then it's just a tawdry sibling rivalry type schtick.

For the Australian's also don't forget that the only city in Australia is Sydney.

Wait, I haven't seen shrimp on the barbie here yet, chuck that in too. With some Vegemite.

That was just Rhys Darby playing Rhys Darby. He played the same character in "The Boat That Rocked".

I am from Zambia

So as an African I am supposed to be a huge black guy (though I am of Indian/Pakistani descent) who lives in a war torn place where I learned how to shoot a gun at age 5; Oh and we all have AIDS and are practically skeletons.

I'm American. so...not well.

Especially since everyone from California is treated as either a health nut or a bleeding-heart liberal.

Germany. Some think we're still evil. (Who told them? It's supposed to be a secret.)

Other than that, the old Germany is known for classical music and the modern germany is known for engineering, science and math (Einstein, Riemann, Gauß, Möbius, Cantor, Kroneck, Dedekind, Weierstraß, Dirichlet, Hilbert, Hausdorff, Heisenberg, Helmholtz, Hertz, Kirchhoff, Planck, Röntgen, Fahrenheit, Fraunhofer etc...)

And then, there are those who think, we ALL dress up in Lederhosen. Hm, maybe the Nazi stereotype isn't so bad at all...

Oregonian here, I don't pay much attention to what the media says about us, but we have trees, and lots of 'em, we also apparently have a weird way of saying our towns or cities like Tillamook (we say Till-uh-muck, they [non-Oregonians] say Till-uh-mook)

Norway, we are pale, tall, snow everywhere, and polar bear roaming the streets. Also we got taken pretty quickly during WWII so I don't see much mention about our opposing force during that time (stopping the making of the A-bomb for one thing, with the help of british training and intelligence) sinking of the Donau (look it up) etc. also.

I have a horned helmet, and an axe ofcourse. And we export Metal and Fiddle music.

Oh, and we are such a passive nation for giving out the peace price etc. I don't know really, I feel we are being representet quite poorly to be honest.

Also: Fjords.

Australia.

Goddamn, our own TV sucks, and the movies we make are sub-par at best. Even though everyone Australian refuses to believe we make bad movies.

Other than entertainment, I'm not sure. How do others view Aus?

U.S: I guess its the country everyone else hates.
For the state I lived in, North Carolina, I lived in a GI Town where people support the soldiers or civilians just worked for a living. I don't think they really have anything to display imho.
