Haven't seen this thread in awhile. Simple question.

I've been playing since conception, lucky for me, my Mom ate a Coleco Vision...don't ask, I never questioned it.

I got my first console (a game boy colour) when I was 7 from my mother, it came with Spider-man and Pokemon Gold. That was a little over 11 years ago.

Since i was about 3 years old , im turnig 23 in december so it's going to be 20 years . My dad was a gamer too so i had no choice , one of the first games i rememeber playing is mario3 and final fantasy . And that is why i'm such a giant fan of the final fantasy games and will continue buying every game until square-enix start and make movies.

If you count hitting the fire button while my Dad played on an old Space Invaders cabinet at the mall back in 1980, it'd have to be thirty-one years for me. My first console came in the form of a Mattel Intellivision a year later.

About 23 years, give or take. I began playing games on one of these:

The glorious Amstrad CPC 464 with built in Cassette deck and monochromatic green screen. Behold the power!!

Mmmmm...

I'd have to say when I was about five years old, with the original Sonic the Hedgehog game on the Sega Genesis (it's why I still have hope for the Sonic Franchise, even through the sloshy mess of games that permeates the series today. Though thank God Generations hasn't let me down!). Though the moment I became an avid gamer was when Sonic the Hedgehog 2 came out, and the rest is history.

Since I was five, I believe.
My first console was a Playstation that I got when I was seven years old or something, but before that I played Super Mario Bros. at a friends place.

Since as far back as I remember, Which is since I was 2, but it might have been even earlier. Both of m parents were (and I stress the were) big gamers back then, so you might say I hit the ground running. The first games I remember playing were PaRappa the Rapper, the first three Crash Bandicoot games and one of the first Spyro games.

I believe I started gaming back 1997. Back when I first got the original PlayStation from my parents. Although my dad has told me that I played Duck Hunt with him when I was really little. Not sure how little though. So for now, I still firmly believe that I've been gaming for around 13-14 years.

Since I was about four years old, although I missed a lot of classics because I only had a PC and didn't get that many games for it anyway... and back then, my parents were a lot stricter about ratings so it's unlikely my five-year-old self would have been able to play Deus Ex.

You mean a ColecoVision? Neat. I wanna ask, but I won't, since you asked us not to.

Me? I started by playing Mario Bros (Not SUPER, just plain Mario Bros), Defender, Punch-Out and Ms. Pac-Man in the arcade down from my house as a toddler. I'd have to stand on milk crates to see the screens. So, all in all, I've been gaming nearly 30 years now. I'm kind of a pro.

Well, around the time I was 8 or so my father kept me out of his hair by giving me a comodor color and a huge book that if you copies all the code over line by line, you would end up with packman. so 23 years or so.
