Exactly as the title suggests, I want to know how loud you like your iPod/MP3 player. I used to have it on a good volume but then I got more and more annoyed by background noise in public places and continued turning up the volume until I got to max volume. I've had my iPod at max volume for so long that having it at a lower volume makes it seem a lot quieter. I know my ears will end up wrecked but it's worth van Halen and Iron Maiden.

Quieter since I've started wearing it everywhere I go and my ears have started hurting.

Depends on the headphones and the song I'm listen to
Try rap or metal, it sounds like crap but pretty music sounds best quiet

When I'm by myself, max volume.

If I'm near people, I will usually have it low.
I find it rude to completely block out people.

Depending, if I'm on the way to college myself, can't hear shit over it.

If I'm walking with someone it's quiet but still there quietly...unless they annoy me then it gets louder.

I do not use earbuds. That is what four-foot speakers are for. And they do not need to be turned up very high to be loud. Polk Audio: The Speaker Specialists!

Minimum volume is loud enough when I'm on my own
I ramp it up to four bars out of about 12 if I want it to be louder. say, if I'm on a bus and can't hear it.

My zune is usually on somewhere between 6-8, depending on how quiet the song itself is.

I usually listen to my mp3 player as low as possible because my ears start to hurt if it's on too loud. So it's usually on 3-6 depending on how much noise there is around me and how quiet/loud the song itself is. (My mp3 player's volume goes up to 24 so I think you can do the math) Plus, I'm a freak when it comes to my ears, I don't want to harm my hearing ability =P

Loud enough so people can't hear it, but I can :D

I actually test with my bro, if he can hear it from across the room, its too loud and I turn it down.
I don't like annoying teens who have their music on full blast so the whole tram/bus can hear it T_T

I have a volume lock set on my iPod, so I only turn it up half-way at the most. Noises much louder than that hurt my head. On the bright side, I've got much better hearing than 90% of all the other high schoolers here.

Also people can't hear my music through my headphones. That always bugs me about other people.

I keep mine around 70-75%. I all ready have done enough damage to my ears over time so I don't need any more to occur.
