I thought I'd killed a lot, but ever since I started working towards Seriously 2.0 in Gears of War 2 (kill 100,000 enemies) I think it's a lot lower than imagined.

I've probably annihilated Canada. Sorry Canadians.
don't worry they are just Canadians

I've done enough damage between the first two God of War & No More Heroes games alone to probably count as 3 Asias & an Atlantis (or 6).

Granted Shadow of the Colossus has been played enough times that I think I memorized where all the weak spots were on both difficulties and some, if not all, of those 16 kills were the ones that left me the saddest out of all the videogames I've played. I've also dropped enough NPCs in WoW that the world of Azeroth would be depopulated at least 4 times over, I've put soooo many bears and other fauna on the endangered species list. And I've done enough damage to the criminal market in Albion in both timelines that it should have been almost like my Hero character would've become like Frank Miller's Batman by that point in the Fable franchise.

On a side note: I'm that guy who tries to play games (if given the option) so that I emphasize stealth/non-leathal measures, but if based on every digital avatar I've used I'd be stuck in the Sorrow's stage for about 2 eons, but ironically I only have to pass the required 4 during that trial (it was just the best measure I had on hand). I have played the face off of all 3 numbered Fallout games, as well as put enough Splicers to rest that I'd never be able get anywhere in regards to wading through the mountains of digital corpses.

This reminds me of Metal Gear Solid 3. There's that scene

where you have to walk in that river, and fight off ghosts of every man you killed. When my brother played that part, he was like, "WTF, how the HELL do you beat this level". For me, there was like...one guy. It was pretty easy...

If you count all the RTS's I've committed genocide in, at least 1 million people.

Can't... count... that... high...
Let's just say that I blew up quite a few stars in Galactic Civilizations 2. Which resulted in supernovas. Which resulted in millions of people all crying out in terror and being suddenly silenced.

Oh god... My Dynasty Warriors phase alone must have tallied up at least a couple hundred thousand...

After that there are way too many to count...

Considering I've been playing for a little over 15 years now, I'd say that's pretty big number. However, let's look at the numbers from the major kill games for the past two years or so.

Gears of war 2: with hoard mode I don't even wanna know
God of war: Blood and guts sirs. that is all.
Left 4 dead: That's an additional 53,595 that I know for sure
Left 4 dead 2: as a rough estimate, just take the above number and cut it in half.
Prototype: The entire population of manhattan. Five times.
Star craft: Don't even get me started.

Yes, I realize that these are not, by any means, definitve numbers. But multiply all that by 8 and you've pretty much got my entire career as a gamer. I'm guessing a couple planets by now?

Hundreds of thousands at least, it's rather unfathomable I'd need to remember 10 years of gaming to be accurate. That just wouldn't be possible.

Not enough apparently for it seems that there are always more to kill.

If you recognize all of the games in that video, then there is NO possible way to come up with a reasonable estimate.

Math and Science are still in works on calculating a number large enough.

But seriously, probably around a million. Enemies lay waste at my feet.

Let's see... I've played each God of War console game around 1.5 times each... I've clocked countless hours in Rome and Medieval 2 Total War butchering the AI... and I did all the sidequests in Mass Effect 1.

Oh, and there was that bomb thing that killed like all the Locusts in Gears of War 1 & 2.

Hey do zombies count?

So, my estimate is... I've probably blown up Earth at least twice.
