How many enimies have you killed in your gaming career? (A rough guess)

My best guess, in the 25+ years of gaming that I can remember pretty clearly.... jeez, I have no idea. Some required lots of grinding, some were just endless swarms and the kills racked up fast... many many billions. I'm sure I've killed millions in games like Final Fantasy 6 or Starcraft, wherein I played the games through over and over.

Well I had over 100,000 on Call of Duty 4
Currently sitting on 10,000+ for MW2
Around 8000+ on Halo 3
5000+ Gear of War 2
50K+ lifetime kills on WoW (only one of my four level 80 characters)
Plus all my single player FPSs, Team Fortress 2, any Nintendo game I used to love.

I dunno, man...millions?! Surely no one knows the answer to this but if you've really been gaming for 13 years I highly doubt you only have 68,500...

Several million, no fucking doubt. WoW for 4 years. At least 2 million kills per GTA game. Plus that level in WoW where you can kill 100 guys in 5 seconds and I stayed at the turret for 10 minutes...

So roughly I'm gonna guess 2.5 billion.

In one game of starcraft I can kill over 300 things versus a single opponent in a rather short game.

Playing it multiple times a day vs multiple people brings me to several thousands.

Add in the JRPGs I play with numerous random battles for another few hundred kills a day.

Add in Smash Bros, where I know I have personally beat down several tens of thousands of CPUs over the course of 7-8 years...

Then Age of Empires...

Then Fable with my frequent rampages through entire villages killing wave after wave of guards...

Then other games...

Hmm.

I'm going to say, somewhere in the vicinity of a few hundred a day for an average. Multiplied by the 11 years I've been old enough to play games. (Super Mario World and Super Mario RPG have lots of killed things in my record, most of them from when I was between 4-10).

My computer's calculator gives me 1,204,500 based on an average 300 kills a day. Which is probably conservative. Alternatively the low level games I've been playing have slowed me down.

Although on the note of RPGs still, I generally kill well over 1000 enemies in around 5 minutes to uncurse the Paladin Shield in FF6 with my turbo button and something holding down my A button on the second controller.

300 a day might be really conservative...

ok well the first person shooters account for a very small percentage of the kill count. so small im not going to count them.

i like stratergy games you see, and the kill count over the years has been rather obtuse.

cities have been put to the sword, (civ, total war)
civilisations have crumbeled beneath my armies, (civ, total war, aoe)
planets have been torn asunder and galaxies have burned, (sword of stars, starwars empire)
gods have wept for the fate of man. (populus)

kill one man your a murderer, kill many your a psycopath, kill em all your a god. (cookie for reference)

kill count estimate - damned if i know, probably literaly.

well, do you include things like the destrution of a vehicle carrying several hundred people? In which case, I've probably killed about half of africa (ignoring the games that involve killing the entire earth). In one to one, mono au mono, probably around 80-90k.

Millions to Billions. A decent number of these are probably from playing Boxhead 2, since I consistently get top 3 for the month whenever I play and tend to play whenever I'm bored of TF2, in which I'm a reasonably skilled Sniper.
