Ok I grew up with both parents as cops. So I have a "Healthy" ubsession with guns. Now I want to know how many of you have guns what you have and how you obtained them.

I have

1. .22 revolver
2. Glock 17
3. Colt M1911
4. 12 gauge Over/Under shotgun


I aquired all four from inheritance when my father died May 1st

I've gone shooting though; mostly target and hunting rifles, and some clay shooting too.

The problem with the "Right To Bear Arms" is that it supersedes the right to know how to use said arms.

Like with anything useful, it's the dumb people that don't know squat about their responsibility that end up doing stupid shit, and most often times using their guns in the wrong scenario(mostly domestic disputes).

I just own a Walther P22. I just use if for target shooting. I occasional use my dad's XD 9 as well. I really only shoot pistol because I'm right hand left eye dominant so I suck at shooting things like rifles.

OT: I own plenty of firearms, mostly hunting weapons but a few self defence as well. My favorite is a 9mm magnum rifle.

Actually, if you look at statistics in countries where guns are banned versus countries with the right to bear arms, you'll find that gun ownership really has little effect on crime rates.

recently inherited a .44 Ruger revolver. before i owned a 20 gauge pump action, .270 bolt action, 9mm Glock, .45 colt 1911, 12 gauge pump action. for purposes of self defense and hunting. fortunately i was taught from a young age to treat them with respect and how to safely use them. if anyone wants to take them, well too fucking bad.
