First gun I get is going to be a Magnum Revolver. I have been in love with them for as long as I have known the many purposes for guns.

I have a wide range of firearms, both for historical value and real use.

49 bolt action rifles, from both world wars, including mausers, lee enfields, mosin-nagants and springfield 1903s.
20 pistols, including colt and S&W revolvers, 1911 colts, in .38, .45 and .455, a luger (genuine german, SS parabellum, oh yes. inherited)
5 semi-automatic rifles, M1 garand, tokarevs, FN FAL from the Falklands war and simonof SKS.
5 submachineguns, an original Suomi kp31, and the ruskie copy of it, the PPSh-41. A 20s tommy gun, ww2 US marine thompson and an MP-40.
3 Assault rifles, a 1972 M-16, an AK-47 and a valmet M82.

All above are under a collectors lisence and nearly all are still fully operational with original parts. I study history and use my collection as a reference. The weapos are only fired if aboslutely necessary to prove a point in an argument about history. I do not keep live ammunition for these firearms.

For personal use, hunting rifles and such, a SAKO TRG 42 in .338 lapua and .308, 2 shotguns and a sako .222 poacher.

I have a bunch of BB guns and a crossbow?

I use my old Nokia 3210 for home defence though. Throwing it does more damage than a Shotgun to the gibblies.

I have no weapons, and don't want any. The "Right to bear arms" is a bad idea, and adds to the level of gun crime.
the US constitution was written about 200 years ago and it hasn't changed since. just like obama has been saying for the last year or so, it's time it changed. giving people the right to bear arms also gives them the illusion of power i.e. you're more likely to get shot if you have a gun. living in the UK, im not allowed to have a gun, but we have the same problem with knife crime.

I don't have any guns only due to my age. But I plan on buying a Springfield scoped sniper rifle and possible a thompson or Sten.

Sadly, I do not own any firearms. If I did (and I intend to eventually), I would have an AK-74 assault rifle, a PPSh-41 SMG, and a Tommy. Also, I'd really like a S&W .357.

depending on where you live, those could be felonious acquisitions. i am pretty damn sure the PPSh is illegal in mst places around the world. the .357 is nice but if you want fire power Ruger makes a fantastic .44 revolver. or hell, if you want to end anyting from phone books to zombies try the S&W 500. its meant to kill bears.

S&W 500 it is then, hell freaking yes. I'd also really like a semi-auto shotgun.

I own a Springfield XD 45 Tactical (which was a gift from my dad) and I Remington 710 .30-06 rifle that I'll be selling soon in exchange for a different hunting rifle.

I'm looking into buying a Mossberg 930 SPX and an FNP 45 eventually as well.

+1

I grew up rather poor, but in a nice part of town, so there was little excuse to spend so much money (relatively speaking). Self-defense is sort of in my blood though, having a martial artist as a dad, so I feel the need to eventually learn to use different guns (depending on the person this may sound contradictory but trust me, it isn't).

I think I'm gonna start with a Glock 17, since I hear they are easy to learn with, but I've never actually held a gun in my life.

To answer the OP though, No, I don't have any guns.

Don't bother with the PPSh-41. The KP-31 is the original, better made, more accurate and lighter. I've handled both and interviewed both Russian and Finnish soldiers who used them in 1939-1945. Most of them say The KP-31 is by far the better gun.

Hold up... It's the "right to bear arms" no "the right to arm bears"? Now what am I going to do with my army of assassin bears?

OT: Live in England so no firearms.

Guns are a crutch for those who lack the chutzpa to beat a bear to death. If there were no guns people might try and better themselves so more people would be out fighting bears.
