Its like gandalf said "Death is only the beggining"
I dont fear death, its inevitabel, butI'm actually kind of curious to know what it would be like to die and to see whats beyond.

I really don't care. More people have died than are alive. I think we're all just so separated from the realities of mortality that society freaks out about it, and we have to shelter ourselves from the concept of death, so it has this 'unknown', terrifying presence in our consciousness.

Seriously, I think the major reason people get freaked out about death is that they subconsciously know they've either wasted their lives or they've done a lot of things they think are bad and they're worried about what will happen to them in the afterlife. My advice is to just make the most of your life and live to a code that you can be proud of.

The fact that you are asking this question on a gaming forum might say something about why you don't care. It's in relationships that we find meaning, and you won't find those behind the pixels on your computer screen.

I don't really care about my own death, but I certainly do care if people close to me die.

Death happens. It is inevitable. Everything, in time, will end. Just go along with it, mourn for your loss and move on.

It depends on your religion, if your christian you belief in the wonderful paradise of heaven, but if your Atheist you belief you will just rot in the ground for eternity.

I remember I got chastised for this last time I made a comment on this type of topic, but I remember questioning the integrity of the mounds of posts that said something along the lines of "I don't fear death".

It was mainly because the idea of most escapists not fearing death would mean that they're borderline suicidal/badass, and I just don't buy it, especially considering the large amounts of atheists we have here.

Well I don't usually feel emotion when faced with someone's death. I guess that as a teenage neoatheist /b/tard I just couldn't give less of a care.

I can sum up my feelings about death in one quote:

"No, Death is not the end, just another path, one we all must take."

It's natural for humans to fear the unknown, and it's hard-wired instinct for us to fear non-exstience. Religious people tend to fear death less because they have a pretty good idea of what's going to happen to them once they die. The only religious people who fear death a lot are the ones who think they're going to "hell" or some sort of equivalent of that, however, even this involves a certain amount of certainty and at least if you're in hell you "still exist". Atheists, agnostics, etc tend to fear death more because simply not existing and having no "soul" is something that the human mind can't comprehend on an instinctual level. It is easy to comprehend on a RATIONAL level though, and plenty of Internet Tough Guys will read this right now and go "haha, you're talking crap, look at me I have no God and I don't fear death", but I bet if someone were to attack you right now with intent to kill, you would either attack back or defend yourself as a gut-level reaction. Even if you had no reason to live. Survival is hard-wired into our brains, and "fear of dying/nothingness" is part of that hard-wiring, and it exists in every one of us.

I would rather live life to the fullest before I die. Some people look at it the opposite. They see no meaning in life therefor, they don't care.

Death before your time is tragic, but otherwise I don't care at all. It's biology's way of stopping us over-populating.
