I think you gravely misunderstood the EC video, OP.

Floyd mentions third world countries like Mongolia and Azerbaijan, (was it?) to give example of countries that DON'T get real Games AT ALL As in you literally cannot buy a authentic game from those countries In ANY way. And those are just a two of many, many, MANY countries. want more names? Brazil, Bangladesh, Most African Countries, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Antarctica, The moon (jk).etc.

In those areas you have exactly 4 options. 1)Wait for relatives to come from abroad and tell them to bring you games (enjoy playing TWO games a year btw) 2)Buy local Pirated games, 3)Download your own games if you have decent broadband (which is very rare in many of those countries)
and 4) Don't have anything at all to do with the video game culture at all in any way. Because you will never be able to legally buy a game no matter how much you may want!

So, your thread is not going to get any answers from people in said regions because they won't give up a chance to get the Neo badge, by admitting to piracy on the third question.

Ummm... I'm a little confused. I merely said that the discussion from that thread sparked my curiosity. I'm not trolling for piracy admissions or anything, I just realized during reading the thread over there that I really don't know details about the cost of games in other countries, just vague ideas (like I know Australia costs more, but I don't know how much more).

I'm sorry if you feel like I'm trolling for piracy admissions, but that truly wasn't my original intent. I just know that I felt like I was missing information, so I asked for people to give me more information if they felt like it.

Can you think of a better wording I should use to better get that across? Maybe put in a disclaimer 'Or just say you can't get games?' I didn't mean to upset or offend anyone, I'm just curious about other gamers...

I made ^^that point clear because i thought you had misinterpreted that bit in the Extra Credits video to say "It's okay to pirate if real Games are readily available but REALLY expensive in that country" as opposed to them saying "it's okay to pirate if the game is not available in the country at all, in legal methods". I don't know if you HAD misinterpret that, but know that i wasn't charging, or blaming you for anything.
