don't go to many gigs, ive seen doves, guillemots and the hives live, though. i spend a lot of time looking up, listening to and downloading music, ive recently spent a lot of time listening old music from the 60's like Moby Grape, The Byrds, The Flying Burrito Brothers (who sound shit but are excellent) as well as steely dan, X, Gram Parsons, the replacements, R.E.M., the pixies and various others from a bit later. i also own 5 rolling stones albums, a few by the beatles and a whole load of others that are famous classics. in total i have over 4,000 songs on my laptop and all have been listened to.

Music has been a major part of my life since I was born. My parents are heavily into classical and 70s type stuff (aka when they were teenagers). My siblings and I have a shared collection of CDs that we've built up over the years, literally enough to build a reasonably sized square room out of if we could be bothered although many are kept in the loft of our house because we don't have the space to keep them in the main part of the house however the music is most likely on one of our PCs. My iTunes library has 9 days of music in it however I only use that for my iPod and when I'm on the PC or want to listen to music in the house I use spotify these days, god knows how much music I've got on there. I went to a music school for 5 years between the age of 8 and 13. I play the Violin and sing sometimes in a band and at the studio at my college when required. I play in a Jazz band and an Orchestra and plan on forming a Ska band at some point.

Music is what I love the most. I personally play guitar, but nothing beats listening to the worlds best bands (in my opinion) such as AC/DC, Muse and The Eagles. So I would say music is about a 95% part of my life. I listen to it all the time, no matter what, even when I sleep.

It's a massive part of my life, I'd even go as far as to call it an obsession.

My (entirely legal) iTunes library currently stands at 10190 songs, 25.9 days, just over 38 GB. I've still got a couple of dozen CDs here in front of me that I need to import... and several hundred more at home. It's such an arduous task.

For quite a while, I was living with my parents and working - they took very little of my wage, so the rest was entirely disposable. Not being much of a drinker or gamer at the time, I blew about £100 a week on CDs, often more - so much that I never got around to listening to it all. I had to cut costs a little when I was spending £40 a week on travel to see my girlfriend, but near where she worked was a well-stocked independent record shop that sold full album promos for £1 each... which meant I'd buy 30 or more at a time. Now I'm away at university and had to leave 99% of my collection at home for logistical reasons, meaning I've got CDs there from 7 years ago that I've never got around to listening to in full.

90% of the time, I have music playing.
In school, Music.
At home, Music
When I'm out, Music.
At gig's....You can kinda guess that one

As for my Itunes stats
110 Albums, 2.8 days, 6.5 gig's.

I am usually out at gig's and concerts as well, I love going out to random ones

Damn that is cool, would love to learn sax some time. I currently play guitar, bass, drums, piano, mandolin and sing. Written countless songs. When I get some motivation I'll get out there and start peddling my craft.

Less and less as I get older. Tears. Maybe because of how phoney the industry has become. Who knows. I only listen to what I already like and college radio stations now.

I love music but there's more important things. I've got about 12GB on my hard drive. I would have more but I've only got a wee small hard drive.

Windows Media Player song count: 8,350

CD Collection: Haven't counted.

Love music, I couldn't really see myself living without it, and I'm always open to new genres of music whenever available.

I play guitar, am always listening to it, you could say the way I look and dress is influenced by it, it's gotten me laid and I'm off to music college in September.

It plays a pretty big role.
