HUGE! I'm off to uni in September to do Sound Technology, so yeah it's hopefully going to consume my entire life.
Been to around 20-30 gigs so far, but having only been going since about November 2007, plus Reading Festival and Truck Festival(our local one, which has some pretty decent bands-got Ash and Supergrass playing this year, has previously had Foals, Futureheads, Jack Penate playing). I go to any band I like that's playing in Oxford (got the O2 Academy, Regal and a couple of pubs put on some decent quality bands), but I've also been to gigs in Bristol and London. However, most of my friends don't like the same music as me, so I'd say about 85% of them I've gone on my own; I figure that why should I miss out just because I'm on my own.
On my 20GB mp3 player I've got about 12GB (just under 2000 tracks) but I just got rid of a few albums because I just don't listen to them anymore. I'm now at the stage where I don't listen to a band/album for several months or a few years even, then it's a joy to rediscover them when I listen to them again.
