Gaming makes up a good-ass chunk of my life ever since I first got my GBA with Rayman Advance in August of 2001. Even though writing's my main passion as well as something I want to do as an occupation, it's fun to just sit back, relax, and play a random video game that peaks my [niche] interest... Also, one of the things that I still do when I'm not actively playing a video game is using my math skills to make various mock spreadsheets of different stats and anything else that you could find from an online video game guide from Gamefaqs or something off a guide book from Bradygames or Prima, for example... Then again, as I've gotten older, I've been going from playing video games almost all day every day to setting up dedicated times to play video games while, at other times where I can't, either doing something non-video games-related or learning more about video games through trusted sources and the like...
So overall, I wouldn't necessary rate it by any sort of percentage, since it has all seeped into my daily life one way or another to even give it a true pinpoint percentage even from just a simple, personal opinion... However, to say that I play too much or too little of video games, let alone discussing and/or learning too much or too little about them, would, in my opinion, be a dishonest truth from my perspective...
