A healthy amount.

Less than an enthusiast would usually claim, I don't usually stick at it for long on a weekday.

I currently have a lot of spare time and games take up too much of that, really. I should be doing something a little more productive. I do have a tendency to drift away from games that require a lot of leveling up and unlocking of skills to get the full benefit out of them.

Not a whole lot I'm afraid. Everyday I will check gaming news websites and these forums but they'll be some days where I don't play any games at all. I have lots of uni work and I spend 3 hours a day travelling to and from the university, giving me little time to actually play games (still uncomfortable cracking out a handheld on the train).

Despite all that I'd still wager that it's my biggest hobby, or perhaps on par with anime. I spend a lot of my free time watching anime since it's more laid back than gaming and I often feel too tired to exert myself focusing on a game.

Pokemon ORAS looks like it'll be taking up a lot of my time in the future though.

I get in from work, eat and wash and then spend around 4 hours playing various games. On days off I exercise my right to be lazy by doing the same for most of the day. Soundtracks make up my driving music and I have just spent almost half of a month's pay on one item of memorabilia. If I'm on some game on my pc I'll have any one of various game related youtube channels playing on the second monitor. I think it's safe to say it's a big part of my life.

Everyday I either play a few hours of video games or read forums like this, or talk about games with other people. So it is a very big part of my life, equivalent to a part time job.

Depends if I'm employed or not tbh
If I'm unemployed at the time probably 65% of my waking hours.
Fof the past 3 months I've had a full time job so it's more like 15% of my waking time now.

Gaming makes up a good-ass chunk of my life ever since I first got my GBA with Rayman Advance in August of 2001. Even though writing's my main passion as well as something I want to do as an occupation, it's fun to just sit back, relax, and play a random video game that peaks my [niche] interest... Also, one of the things that I still do when I'm not actively playing a video game is using my math skills to make various mock spreadsheets of different stats and anything else that you could find from an online video game guide from Gamefaqs or something off a guide book from Bradygames or Prima, for example... Then again, as I've gotten older, I've been going from playing video games almost all day every day to setting up dedicated times to play video games while, at other times where I can't, either doing something non-video games-related or learning more about video games through trusted sources and the like...

So overall, I wouldn't necessary rate it by any sort of percentage, since it has all seeped into my daily life one way or another to even give it a true pinpoint percentage even from just a simple, personal opinion... However, to say that I play too much or too little of video games, let alone discussing and/or learning too much or too little about them, would, in my opinion, be a dishonest truth from my perspective...

Quite a lot, when I can find the time. Even when I can't get the time to actually play games, I'm often looking at some video game related on the internet. Gaming is my main pastime, and while I do enjoy doing other things, gaming is hands down my favorite thing to do.

The time I spend playing, purchasing, and talking about games, they take up a pretty huge chunk of my life. Just straight-up playing games though, not as much. I'm on here reading or typing about games or over on youtube watching game-related videos a bit more than I actually play games recently. Part of that is not being able to use my TV for gaming as much as I used to. Another part of that is how recently I've had more work hours to think about. Then oddly enough there's the stress factor...you'd think I would play more to avoid stress but recently if I've had time I would kind of just clam up and not do anything...it's kind of sad. Beating Skyward Sword must have really messed me up since I haven't gone into any games since with that urge to go through and finish them...quite yet...then I got Hyrule Warriors which...I'm not playing at the moment...I need to fix that (goes straight back into playing Killswitch)

More than I'd like to admit. I spend a lot of my free time watching streamers, reading news articles, and checking out games on Steam. I have a bunch of video game poster, novels, etc. in my room. I talk about them quite a bit here and with friends. I'd say gaming is quite a large part of my life.

I'd say that gaming is an influential medium in my life, while at the same time not very significant overall.

Sure, I enjoy playing, completing, reading, writing and talking about video games on a daily basis, but it is not the only hobby that I partake and certainly not the most time consuming.

I simply have a lot of things and hobbies that occupy my time; regardless, I do enjoy video games and their interest and influence stretches as far back as when I was 4 years-old.

Depends on how you look at it.

On one hand, I have a full time job, friends that I spend time with (very few of whom are into gaming), family obligations, errands and chores, etc. All this often doesn't leave that much time for hobbies, or at least not nearly as much as I used to have.

But on the other hand, a large majority of my free "alone" time is spent gaming. Something like 2/3 or 3/4 of it, at a rough glance. Even when I can't game, I'll often be doing something related to it. If I'm taking a few minutes of work, I'll pop to a gaming news site or a forum (like I am right now, writing this post), I'll listen to a gaming podcast or a Twitch stream just as often as some music when I need background noise, and I'll happily talk about games for hours with those among my friends who enjoy gaming.

So while gaming isn't overall that big a part of my life, it's one very close to my heart. It's my favorite pastime and an important aspect of who I am.

It you mean the specific time dedicated to gameplay, maybe two or three hours a day. I play games when:

1. I'm back from work. I play for like two hours for relaxation. For this I will choose engaging games like Armor Blade, Clash of Clans, etc.
2. I have some fragmented time, like waiting. I will play some not so absorting or demanding game, like NOON, Dumb Ways to Die, etc.

Playing those games can refresh my mind sometimes, as it can stop me from thinking about a certain stuff.

I'm not sure what is meant by "involved", but if it's "amount of time spent playing or reading about video games" its probably about half. I try to fit gameplay in anywhere as much as I can, even if its playing Vita while I'm lying down before falling at sleep. At work I listen to TB and various video game podcasts, so video games have a place there.

But yeah, a definite passion (more than a hobby) after my wife and daughter.

Well, when I'm not playing, I tend to be reading or watching videos about videogames. And I use my commute to play with my 3DS. So, about half of my life.

Maybe an hour a day lately.

I work and then I'm typically out playing one sport or another in the evenings. If I don't get the exercise I don't sleep/feel/focus so well... So it is forever being prioritised over basically everything else.
