And by this is mean read books, because if you're on the Escapist the likelyhood is that you read posts quite often.
So just books.
Ignore the other stuff.

I hardly read books anymore, i really should, i used to love books!
Curse you internet...

About a book or two a week, depending on whether I've got any new books in and my mood. When I get a new book that really grips me I can read it for hours straight. I'm recently re-reading Artemis Fowl and I've managed to get through a book every 2 nights thanks to their pocket size compared to the Night Angel Trilogy.

I think the last one will be demoted to bathroom reading however as my wonderful fiancée has just bought me Rapture, the Bioshock prequel. It'll definitely be soaking my spare time up.

I don't read nearly as much as I should.
The odd book every now and then, plus various novels for English classes at school.

I try to read at least ten to fifteen minutes a day, and sometimes I spend hours reading.

I don't read nearly as much as I would like to. I have over 130 books, and I never seem to find the will to pick one up, and if I do, I take weeks to even finish it. I used to read at least a book every two weeks, or sometimes even every couple of days, but now...not so much.

I'm currently reading "The Art of War for Writers" by James Bell Scott.

Once or twice a week. Sometimes more, often less.

I tend to read most when in transit, and as I only leave the house on two days of the week (Seriously, I don't go anywhere, I like it here. It's a bit sad really.) I don't tend to read much.

I was reading an awful lot a little while ago, but then I started reading Dracula. I don't much like it. I'd never recommend it. It's pretty bland.

It's interesting and all, but it's not fun to read. It's like playing a really really old game that you weren't there for. It's just not really gripping me the way it should.

But what do I know, I though the Catcher in the Rye was bad. Actually bad. I would discourage anyone from reading it, it's a story about nothing.

A Hermit's Cave
When I get the chance, one book a week.

However, I'm busy a lot of the time these days so it's down to about one book a month.

See, that is one of the worst books to read 'for the hell of it'. It's actually very well written, and one should read it for analytical purposes, not for fun. Ultimately, it's a shit story though, I agree and to be fair I really wonder what JD was on when he wrote it.

I read alot of comics if that counts for anything. As far as books go I have a hard time choosing and getting started on them so I rarely find I end up reading any.

At least nightly. How fast I get through a book depends on how interested I'm in.

I just tore through a couple books from the Dresden Files series, now it's taking me weeks to finish Starfist: First to Fight. It just drags more.

Mostly one book per week it depends. I have discovered that i can measure up how much i like a book by how fast i read it. The faster i go, more i am instereted. Usually i read several per month from 1-4.

I hardly read anymore. I neither have the impetus nor the desire to truly read, and I spend my downtime through other means. It's truly hard for me to simply enjoy just reading anymore...

I read, at the very least, nightly. Though I often take a book with me when I'm heading out the door, just in case I get stuck somewhere and need something to do.

I'm reading now :p
And now that I got the smartass out of the way; I'm not reading as much anymore as I used to :(

Lack of time is the main reason why, however I'm listening to a lot of audio books instead.
When I commute, when I do the dishes, when I shop - basically I'm squeezing the most I can from the boring side of daily minutiae as I can
It's infuriating sometimes though since it takes you longer to finish a book compared to when reading it.
But on the other hand it's not like you have a choice if you like literature, but dont have the time to sit down and realx with a good read, so you take what you can get :)
