I just got into the Discworld books at the start of the summer and read the first 2. I just ordered Equal Rites and Mort and will get stuck in as soon as they arrive. So yeah, I've been reading novels quite a bit recently.

I read comic books every day, though. I've been buying trades for the past 2 years and have built a pretty impressive collection. Right now I'm reading Batman & Robin Must Die!
I also just ordered Justice League #1 (from the New 52 DC reboot) and I'm gonna be buying the monthly issues of Justice League, Action Comics, Detective Comics, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman and Batman & Robin. Can't wait!

I'm an academic so I read all the time. Books and Journals. Mostly for work. I also enjoy pulp crime novels...but I don't have a lot of time for pleasure reading.

It varies a lot. Some months I read 10-15 books and sometimes I do not read books for a couple of weeks

I'm on my 3rd book this week (not exactly huge at less than 400 pages each). But I read to and from work , during lunchtime and whenever I have nothing better to do so it quickly adds up.

I used to read all the time, but got out of it whilst at uni, 'cos there was just too much else to do. I planned on getting back into it over Summer, but have failed dramatically.

I might spend a while reading later though because you've now got me in the mood to.

I read whenever I get the chance and I normally have a book on me, just incase I have nothing to do. Obsessed with Dick at the moment...

haha, couldn't resist phrasing it that way, but before I get a warning I mean Philip K Dick... awesome Sci-fi, also Arthur C is another king of the genre..

Everyday, always reading something on-line or in a paper, occasionally a text and things in shops.

Oh, wait, a book? oh, god, never.

I read a lot of books, usually two or three a month, depending on my work load. I'm pretty sure I'm legitimately addicted to books though. I don't feel comfortable going anywhere without carrying one in my purse.

Some would say I read too much.

Of course, those "some" read nearly not at all.

A book a week is what I average. These can range from thousand-page epics like The Crippled God, to the 300-page adventures from Magic: the Gathering.

You, sir, are a gentleman and a scholar. More folk should discover Malazan Book of the Fallen.

all the time.
Wait, does fanfiction count?
but seriously, I love books. I can spend hours browsing second hand book shops. I can (and have) stayed up all night reading the Arabian Nights. I have reread books so often that they have literally(no pun intended) fallen apart in my hands. 1/3 of my wall space is dedicated to bookshelves, and I still don't have room for all of them. Screw e-readers, I want to read in the bath!
So yeah, three or four a week, including rereading.

I read quite frequently. I just finished reading the Odyssey and have just started reading a condensed history of Ancient Greece; the one seemed to follow the other quite well.

I must admit, however, that I don't read as much as I once did, but of late I have been reading more than I was over the last couple of years...

At least 'til Skyrim comes out :(

I read pretty much everyday, usually at night. But I always have about 5 books on the go at once to fit whatever mood I am in, also have several at my boyfriends house for when I am there.

Not as often as I used to, or probably as often as I should. Back in high school, I used to read at least a book a week, more often two or three (fiction), plus I always had a few nonfiction books on the side to peruse a bit of now and then, finishing them at a rate more like one every month or so. (And by "nonfiction," I mean actual informative things like Dawn and Twilight of Zoroastrianism or Hyperspace, not nonfictional stories like Julie and Julia, which I include with the fiction since it reads similarly.) Now I have something like five times the nonfiction books in progress, but I finish them less often, and I have trouble getting into fiction beyond short stories lately. I probably only actually sit down and read a book with intent to finish it about once or twice a month.

But what do I know, I though the Catcher in the Rye was bad. Actually bad. I would discourage anyone from reading it, it's a story about nothing.
But that's what makes it brilliant.

OT: Not as much as I used to. Maybe an hour or two a day.

When I was a kid reading was almost the only thing I ever did in my free time. Just as I was getting towards completing the entire works of all my favourite authors, I got my first game platform, a Gameboy Advance. After that, I didn't read nearly as much. If I find a good book I'll still read it to the exclusion of all other activities until it's done (when I got my copy of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, I immediately shut myself in my room and literally did nothing but read, eat and sleep until I was done it about 24 hours later), but I don't seek out good books anymore.
