. I know this because in JK when we were asked to draw our family etc. I would always include a Street Fighter character.
I'm 28 and I started playing when I was about 7. My dad had the NES and my first sample was Legend of Zelda. Then I started waning from the gaming scene for awhlie. Going off and on with the SNES and then the Game Cube. By then I stopped for awhile until we got our PS1 and a game known as Final Fantasy 7. From then on I've been playing games more often and expanding my tastes from other complex RPGs to FPS and so on.
Now all I need is a REALLY good computer to play some hi-def computer games.

I'm 20 and I got started at about 7. Begged for a Playstation for Christmas and have been hooked ever since.
I'm sixteen... got a PlayStation 1 when I was about five or six. Played that and GameBoy, started playing PC games, really got into them when I was about 11.
I'm currently 20 [21 tomorrow! :3] and I have been playing games since I was about 4 or 5. My first games consisted of Pong and Super Mario Brothers.
I'm 25, nearly 26 and have been playing since i was 2 or 3.
I remember the first game i ever played was Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards. Obviously i had no concept of what the game was about, i remember constantly finding it hilarious that i could make Larry go to the toilet!

Im 17 , and to the best of my memory i think my first games were early PS1 games, like Glover and Oddworld. can't think how old i would have been though.
I'm 21 now and started playing video games seriously as of christmas '97 when i got a Nintendo 64... So i was 8 or 9 when i started.
I was also quite good, i can remember my dad's 30 year old friends, who all owned their own N64 consoles, could never beat me at Golden Eye. I remember one of them, a police officer, got quite angry once because i kept killing him.

I'm 18 now, and the first game i played was on a keyboard that plugged into the TV (Can't remember the name, think it was an Amiga? Or something like that) the games were on floppy disks, think the first game i played on it was Robocop.
However i first became a gamer when i got the PS1 (i was about 8 i think), since then i have loved consoles =D
