My old Online name was Pherson (my real life nickname), which is Pronounced "Fer-sun".

People would always forget that PH makes a FFFFFUUUU- Sound, which is coincidentally what I said when they said it wrong and called me "Person"

My tag of choice, Brocken, gets mispronounced so often I've considered paying to change my Gamertag so I don't have to deal with it anymore. It's like they don't even notice the C.

Perrin. Pronounced just like (I think) it looks - PEAR-in. Everybody tries to make it way more exotic than that, though. I've gotten everything from Purr-IN to Perry to some kind of French frog-in-the-throat thing that I have no idea how to type out.
Nobody screws up Lazarus, though. That's interesting.

Impossible in real life, thanks to our language being phonetic. However, goddamn americans insist on pronouncing my nickname "Klepa" as "Clee-puh", instead of .. well.. Klepa. There's only one "E" in "Klepa".

My internet/xbox names are usually easy. But that's because I have a difficult last name in real life. It's been destructified coming out of people's mouthes. Teachers, friends, and secretaries cower in fear when they have to read my last name :)
I also know that too my last name has an s an z right beside each other and that seems to throw people off a lot

That's kind of a Shh sound, right?

My name Ian, very difficult to butcher.

Knew a guy called Ieuan (pronounced Yay-an) at college. Took months before the tutors actually started getting it right.

'Ewean?'

The IZ in the middle of my surname is pronounced (guess fucking what!) "IZ", not "EASE", "IS", or any other way. Its akin to pronouncing "smith" as "smythe" - really gets on my nerves because it just isn't complicated, its only a two syllable word anyway ffs!

Mine is pretty hard to get wrong and no-one thus far has :)

I must be rather fortunate.

People who insist on calling me Andy, despite my name being Andrew and never even giving the slighest hint that I've ever been called Andy.
this reminded me of a funny story I called my friend Andrew Andy once at school and then I had a spaz attack in the corridor cause no one calls him that and I have no idea what possessed me to do it. Suffice to say I sped went bright red and squeaked at him before fleeing the scene... smooth.

Anyway, my name's Saskia but an old geography teacher called me Sasha for the whole year despite the fact I corrected her every lesson. My doctor calls me Sakia and people struggle with spelling monkyvirus (though that's my fault there is a long story bout why it's not got an e but I won't bore you with it now)

I dont have that problem with my real name but my PSN is one that people always screw up.

It's Excedion (ex-sid-ee-on) not (ex-sid-on) or (ex-sid-yawn)
