How seriously do you take escapist users' opinions?

Well, I don't blindly follow them, that is for sure. However, I usually give people's opinions the attention and respect that they deserve. Even if I do not agree with them.

When it's about their opinion as a musical taste or something, non-seriously, that's their own.

When it's about something I do, or how I live, less than non-seriously, I don't usually bother with other's opinions on my life.

Therefore I don't take it very seriously.

I take the staff's opinions and reviews seriously. Yahtzee's too (I can usually determine whether he enjoyed the game or not). Regular Escapists' opinions? Not so much.

I respect other peoples opinions, including the people of the Escapist, doesn't mean I agree with them.

When they insult mine, I set out to destroy theirs.
When I am very successfull it is wonderful. *remembers the "Avatar Depression" thread* Oh yes.

Surely thats counter intuitive, if someone insults you just try to turn the other cheek, trying to destroy and dismantle their words wont actually do anything.

But then again I'm a pacifist so I'm going to sound like a pansy.

About as seriously as I take anybody else's opinions. If someone degrees with me by more than a few degrees, I assume they're posturing.

I generally give them the same amount I would in real life. It's easy to find alot of likable people here, and I know that the community here is actually one of the best on any site. So, I know that alot of people here are intelligent, insightful posters. I give them the respect they deserve.

Well, I don't take internet comments seriously at all. The internet can turn anyone into a douchebag.
If someone messes with me in real life I tend to destroy everything they love. It's so awesome!

About as seriously as I take anyone else, I expect them to be idiots until they prove otherwise. Well, since this is the internet, probably even less serious than anyone else even if the amount of decent and smart people is unusually high on the escapist.

About as seriously as I would take an opinion from someone I didn't know, which is to say not very.

If I can see a hint of inteligence within their post, I am more likely to pay attention.
If I can clearly see they are a moron or a moron trying to guise themselves as someone with intellect, I will ignore everything they have to say.

I don't take anything on the internet seriously. If somebody on here insults me or something I like, I just shrug it off.
