the more shameful part is that Team Rocket gets defeated by them every episode.

I HAVE THE BEST ENDING TO POKEMON!

Ending one: Ash kills himself because he realizes that he will never win a tournement. (It's been like what... five times?)

Ending two: Team Rocket buy a 300 dollar pistol instead of a 500K robot, kill Ash and his friends, steal pikachu, Kill Giovanni, take over Team Rocket, and go into a gang war with Magma, Galactic, Aqua turning the Pokemon universe to chaos, and having Jesse and James meet Scarface-esque ends.

Mewoth then quotes Ezeikel 25:17 to teh leaders of the other three gangs and then gets shot by Bruce Willis while he tries to get his gold watch.

Actually in one episode (forgot which season) they came back to the town where the bike got fried and Nurse Joy fixed up Misty's bike and she went back to her town to be the Gym leader of Cerulean City.

Actually Misty used to recognize them all the time. Ash is just oblivious to everyone but Pokemon, and Brock was usually ogling a girl.

It was from a short comedy film called "Italian Spiderman". It's hilarious. Anyways, Ash is a douchemonster, so he can't be expected to get a new bike. Besides, Misty's been sleeping with Brock on the side, she doesn't deserve a new bike! Yeah.. I went there.

yeah you think he would, I remember back when Gold and Silver came out, and I beat it (many times) I was so excited when in the anime Ash and friends were just going into that region, I'd be like "ooohhhh, Ash is going to be where I was!!!" I liked to pretend that the game universe and show universe crossed in some way

yeah you think he would, I remember back when Gold and Silver came out, and I beat it (many times) I was so excited when in the anime Ash and friends were just going into that region, I'd be like "ooohhhh, Ash is going to be where I was!!!" I liked to pretend that the game universe and show universe crossed in some way

LOL same here, I just stopped playing pokemon after Gold and Silver since I realized Nintendo will always use the same formula (eg You get a starter pokemon and beat the Elite four)

Yeah I had noticed that, and yeah it had occurred to me that Ash and Co. should be able to identify Team Rocket on sight by now even through their lame-ass disguises just by virtue of the fact that it's always them. But at the same time it also occurs to me that it's a kids show aimed at kids roughly ages 6-10 who probably aren't going to pick up on this stuff. ...still a little innovation couldn't hurt, but I don't watch the show so what do I care?
