But yeah, I wish hats were more of a part of modern dress. Go back 50-60 years and everyone was wearing them, whether it was a bowler, a trilby, or a tweed flat cap. I blame the decline in dress standards. We should all go back to wearing suits, and dresses for the ladies. The world would be a far better place

I started wearing hats a few months after I stopped getting haircuts. Keeps the hair out of my face. I like broad-brimmed hats because they also keep sunlight or rain out of my face.

These days I never leave home without a hat.

Tip of the day: With a quality, cowboy - style hat and a long oilskin overcoat, you'll look awesome AND never need an umbrella!

I know hats are cool and all, but when I see a guy who's below 20, dressed up like the motherfucking Al Capone or Dr Watson, I just laugh.
I can't imagine a situation, in which me wearing a fedora wouldn't make people think "What the fuck is this guy's problem?"

LOL, yeah, trilby's/fedoras just look stupid on people unless they're wearing a suit to match them, are over 30, or are a businessman. People who wear them like this [http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_R-5kp8rvgMA/ScdR9wwGJ6I/AAAAAAAAD9Q/lkSKtnl_1lg/s320/ASOS+Checker+Trilby.jpg] are just fashion victims.

Wearing hats for novelty/comedic value is however, a different matter

I have a couple beanies, a couple of baseball caps, a cadet cap, a Russian "fur" hat, a Vietcong helmet, and a top hat
