How will the Human race end? (No zombies allowed)

Vampires have been corrupting our youth through use of the Twilight films. When they actually reveal their identity we welcome into society with open arms before they turn on us and drink our blood. True story.
I reckon the world will end up doing that whole 'designer baby' thing and result in severely mucking up the genepool, causing serious mutations that will eventually kill us all. Alternatively the superpowers will end up creating a super weapon of mass destruction and we will have a similar case of the Cold War but weapons will actually be fired, all because they can't have their own way.
It would have to be a catastrophic, planet-killing cosmic event like a supernova or an enormous asteroid. Humanity has suffered through countless diseases and climate changes, but we are like cockroaches - some of us WILL survive no matter what, even if it's only 0.0001% of the current population.
We'll evolve into something else and then fail from there.

The world will end because no one will reproduce. Scientists have discovered that they can combine the genetics of two female mice and produce viable offspring, but (obviously) the offspring is always female. I think eventually this technology will make it to the human level, and slowly men will die off (as male-female relationships sometimes result in men or women, but female female would always be female, so there are more women being born), and because sexuality isn't a choice (my opinion, anyway), the human race dies off when there are no men and a bunch of straight women who don't want children by other women.

I doubt than anything will, unless it's the sun dying thing. We are in many ways, very much like a virus, and one of those ways is that we are damn hard to kill off. I suspect that within the century, war or economic collapse will destroy most of our civilization, throwing us back to the stone age. However, I find it likely that enough of us will survive to continue the race and eventually repopulate. Maybe, if that happens, we will learn not to kill the shit out of the environment and eachother, but i doubt it. vicious cycle anyone? If we ever manage to break the cycle long enough to populate other planets or even solar systems, than it would be almost impossible for our race to go extinct.
