Simple enough...

Would you play like an unstoppable, inhuman badass? Or will you turn up the difficulty and make deliberate mistakes to make you character seem more human?

I personally, will occasionally screw little things up to make it more realistic. Because as we all know... Nobody is perfect

I will play it in a dark room, trying to be a perfect being and scoring the best ending.

And I will fail.

But, it's a game, unrealistic is always funnest for me.

And I don't even know if I'll be getting it yet.

Probably not thanks to the "shower" scene which could be walked in and hilariously misinterpreted.

As with Hubilub, I'll play in a dark room, trying to be perfect and scoring the best ending. I will, however, have the game cranked up to max difficulty-- I want mistakes I make to actually be mistakes, not deliberate decisions. At least, on my first play through.

After that, all my rules go out the window.

The hardest difficulty is actually the default on the demo. And I found the QTE's to be fairly easy there. Hopefully they will get much harder as the game progresses.

Since exclusivity in this day and age is simply insecurity with a halo made of benjamins, I most likely won't be playing it.

I also don't understand quantic dream's obsession with button mashing sequences.
Two games based around QTE's is hardly an obsession...

Even considering they're the only two games the house has released in 10 years and button mashing has been the primary gameplay mechanic?
That doesn't mean they're obsessed with QTE's. Fahrenheit was a good, original game. And Heavy Rain looks to continue that trend

I won't play it.

So...uh...

Yeah.

Hypothetically if I were to play it, I'd play it like I do any other game. Be a god.

I doubt you'd be flinging that around as though it's a bad thing if we brought up Tell-Tale Games/Lucas-Arts Games as having an obsession with adventure point-and-click games. Having a go at Heavy Rain because of QTE is pointless because it doesn't exactly interrupt the flow. If anything, it helps with the urgency (if that's the right term) of the situation (as shown in the demo). Like, the guy who was punching you, you can take it to the face or, if you have a decent reaction span, you can dodge it. It's not like Jericho where you can be running through the corridor, and suddenly you need to press buttons in a QTE fashion to not die.
