Ok, so i was having a discussion over a few games with some friends of mine, and we were discussing the word "Melee" but he pronounced it funny, so my question to you is this. Do you pronounce it "Mee-Lee" or "May-Lay" i myself pronounced it "May-Lay" where as he said "Mee-Lee" so which one do you choose?

May-Lay is the proper prounoncation. but at the start of SSBM the guy clearly says Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeee-leeeeeeeeeeeeee. which in turn made alot of people prounonce it wrong.

For example: When I'm referring to my Aunt, I pronounce it ANT.
But there are regions in Canada (East coast I think) who pronounce it AUH-NT.

It's just a 'where you are' type of pronunciation!

So can't the Mee-lees and May-Lays all just get along??
