I was going to use it (and the surrounding city) as an example of what will happen all over the world if I don't get $67.815 trillion.
Speaking from experience in the banking industry I'd say you'd be lucky to get more than a couple hundred for your trouble, and when they counted your drawer down they'd notice (and if it were more than about $250 they'd search your person, so if you stole enough for it to be worth it you'd get arrested and if not you'd be fired for stealing small change and never be able to work in any job involving cash handling ever again because embezzlement shows up on background checks and that's exactly what they'd put onto your record.)Sewblon said:Get a job at the bank and skim off the top of all the transactions.

In that case I would probably try to break into the vault at night and chloroform anyone still in the bank.SimuLord said:Speaking from experience in the banking industry I'd say you'd be lucky to get more than a couple hundred for your trouble, and when they counted your drawer down they'd notice (and if it were more than about $250 they'd search your person, so if you stole enough for it to be worth it you'd get arrested and if not you'd be fired for stealing small change and never be able to work in any job involving cash handling ever again because embezzlement shows up on background checks and that's exactly what they'd put onto your record.)Sewblon said:Get a job at the bank and skim off the top of all the transactions.
For what it's worth, bank tellers who work the closing shift talk about this stuff all the time during the hour between when the lobby closes and when the drive-up closes. When I was assistant manager it was the first thing most new-blood tellers asked me about, not because they were dishonest, but because they were as curious as any of you would be in the same situation---and how I was when I first started there.
