What I don't like is that the anime is often regarded as the main incarnation of the series, while the manga is only for real hard-core fans. Kind of like how it's Hitchcock's Psycho movie that's famous, and not the Bloch novel it's based on. It's as if the original version doesn't count.
I actually agree to an extent. To be honest, I never heard of Attack on Titan until it got an anime, but I liked it so much I read all of the manga.
The nightmare scenario here is Sailor Moon. Most Americans know it not from the original manga, or even the anime adaptation, but from the massacred edited version that was shown on American TV.

Also, I'll never stop feeling proud that I was an Attack on Titan fan before the anime had been released.

I would like this to be an anime I suppose, though it's not something the series actually needs. Kinda like having an anime version for the sake of having an anime version instead of having an anime version to enhance the original. Think No Game No Life, the anime is miles ahead of the manga and is better in every way.

I'm still a bit uneasy on anime adaptations of these kinds of series ever since they ruined Keima's character at the end of the second season of The World God Only Knows. I assume they retconn'd it since there's a season three now and the manga is finished and can be easily followed by the anime but still. The total WORST attempt to make Keima like the real world and justify it with logic ever, zero out of fucking ten.

Also Arachnea is Best Girl. Kicked* Mia out of the top spot immediately. Though if the winner at the end isn't Mia I will be shocked cuz I'm getting all the first girl gets the guy vibes from this manga.

[sub][sub]*Get it? Cuz she's like a massive spider? Comedy genius.[/sub][/sub]

So.. it's like Monster Girl Quest was put into a blender with Rosario+Vampire? That's cool. I'll probably give the adaption a watch when it comes out.

Aw shit. I just reminded myself of the Rosario+Vampire anime adaption. I'll just go run my head into a wall until I forget about it again. Excuse me folks.

Less Rosario more Tenchi; MC isn't that big of a pushover and the characters aren't all terribly cliche.

Cool! I'm game! I've been hoping that it would get an anime. I mean, it's not exactly the greatest thing out there, but it is a fun read.

@Hectix777:
Read the manga for R+V.
MC gets fucking GOKU levels of power as the series progresses.

Probably my main hate for R+V is that the manga is so much better.
Once SE2 start rolling, it doesn't really stop.
Only issue I have with it is that it sort of wraps up a bit too fast.

Hm. That's interesting. I probably won't watch it because I'm a cheap bastard, but it's nice to know that it exists.

I actually don't like harem manga/anime all that much since it always seems to devolve into the same basic stuff, and it seems that most of them don't really have any substance aside from fanservice. (like, HERE'S THE INTRO, HAVE SOME BOOBS!) Monster Girl, however, I guess I like a little bit more than I should. It doesn't even pretend to be anything more than an ecchi harem series, and it still manages to have more substance than most harem series.
