Please tell me this is a fucking joke. A black congress woman is appearantly annoyed about all hurricanes having caucasian (white) sounding names. She is also annoyed about weather reporters not reporting the weather in a "language" that everyone can understand (if it's ghetto talk I'm going to sue her for those same fucking reasons becuase I don't speak drunken, addicted piece of human refuse). So I guess we're going to see huricane Tyrone soon.

Why the hell not? I don't see why it's a good idea, but I do see why getting upset about it is a bad idea. Taking offence because of this can only be seen as an attack on black people (regardless of why) and will only serve to ignite an IRL flame war. Using African names, on the other hand, costs nothing, has no downsides and keeps people happy.

I believe the term for 'giving way in a polite and reasonable manner to make everyone happy' is known as 'grace' and is quite well rated by most world religions, and society in general. I'm sure it wouldn't do the OP any harm

Seconded. I didn't know that Ghetto Talk was the most widely spoken language amongst black Americans, or that it is mainly spoken by drunks, addicts or faecal matter.

I've noticed that names that start with L tend to be held mostly by black people.
