It seems like Ubisoft's I am alive, is still alive after all. After literally nothing for two years solid they have released a new trailer for the game. The game see's one man's survival in a worn torn city after a huge earthquake, simular to games such as Disaster day of crisis, and Disaster Report.

What is you're Impression of the trailer, does it leave you quaking in your shoes for more, or is this earthquake like a Michael J Fox moment (satire joke btw, please don't grill me), let me know what you think.

It looks pretty cool. I liked the idea from the beginning, but it's only now i've got to see any actual gameplay.

I though they just had an awesome idea for a trailer but didn't know what they actually were going to make, but his looks pretty interesting.

Looks pretty darned good... like it could be a really good game. Let's hope they actually finish it and release it sometime this decade.

This looks like an action-RPG with platforming segments...
Metro 2033 with platforming? Sounds good.

The first trailer I saw, I was hooked. While I haven't watched this trailer yet, I am beyond excited. I hate, legitimately hate disaster movies because it's all special effects and less about the characters. Here, I hope we see a game that plays partly like a disaster movie but with deeper characters.

I will play this game, and there is no guarantee that I will like it, but I will give it a try, perhaps even buy it, and hopefully, it's as good as I think it can be.

Thank god this hasn't died yet. I was worried for a second, there. Or two years.

Is anyone else reminded of the freerunning engine in Assassin's Creed by this?

Here's to hoping it'll be good.

Am I the only one here that came into this thread hoping for some sweet Portal/GLaDOS related news?

Reminds me of The Road. But I am a bit disappointed with this being a download title. I was just hoping for a huge retail release. But this does look very promising, hopefully it will be a good game. Then maybe it will grow into something bigger.

Why is the dependent always a girl? Every single time? Are girls just more innocent, or something?

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate little girls or anything, but when will the protagonist have a son to care for? As the caretaker of a little boy myself, I would find a father/son survival game much more compelling then yet another father/daughter survival game.

While it doesn't look bad, the concept confuses me. It's a big earthquake, sure, but if it only affected one city, then there really shouldn't be an apocalypse like this. Rescue teams and the likes would come within days or at least a week.

I hope they explain that part.

Have you played Heavy Rain? That entire game is based around the kidnapping of a son.

I'm so glad this game is still alive. I love these type of adventure titles.I do hope it is an open world though, the game is just screaming to be explored.

And so if the game does not come out it will be retitled I Am Legend, and if it ever does come out it better call itself I Am Irony.

Oh I thought it's some Portal development... nvm.

Is it really so hard to get some fucking colors in games these days, looks even more depressing then Metro 2033 so I will not be touching this.

I don't like the new character design.

And also you could definitely replace the word 'Father' in that trailer with something funnier.
