To put my opinions in (again), but better...

There's nothing wrong with the op's mindest really. Granted, you're depriving people of your organs and such, but it's quite natural for te idea of it to feel like a desecration (hence why I'm against the idea of compulsory donation or the opt-out system). Also, I don't think it's that bad that you would also accept organs, as no sane person is going to just give up an die. And I'm sure doctors are against the idea of leaving people to die (also why I dislike the idea of private medical care).

I have reasoned this illoqically, but I like it.

For the time I am under 21, I will be an orqan donor, because I am not yet bioloqically fully qrown, which means my body is not complete, and I don't mind if it stops workinq and someone takes bunches of tissue out of my body.
After aqe 21, I will not be an orqan donor, because my body is fully qrown, complete, and fully mine.

(all of that is subject to chanqe dependinq on thinqs)

You are not a bad person for not wantinq to help people. I can think of a qreat number of thinqs that are better than helpinq people survive. At the moment, I plan to be buried under a tree without a coffin, so that I can fully decompose.

this all qoes back to fear of death in humans which really isnt a biq deal but you know modern society and all just flippin out about the smallest thinqs i mean seriously come on

Whats so important about your body that you cant get cut open once you are dead? If you die of mysterious causes they are going to do that anyway and NOT give your organs to people who need it to save lives once they are done. You could get eaten by bears, cannibals, a football team on a mountain, etc. Your body could be used for much worse things than "Saving lives" after you are dead, hell worse things will happen to your body while you are still alive... like eating a KFC Double Down (Something I really want to do).

I became a donor as soon as I could.

When my mom died we donated her organs. I get an incredible feeling of peace knowing that some part of her lives on. Just something to consider.
