I'd agree that food and clothing are necessities which I am willing to kill animals for and I can place my needs above theirs. however torturing them serves no purpose... unless you get off on that sort of thing... which from what you said about killing kids sounds plausible.

i went to zambia with a charity called soapbox and one night in ngabway (probably spelt that wrong) we were offerd chicken by a native, so not to be rude we said yes,he bent down picked up a chicken by his foot and smacked its head on the side of our 4x4.....im not saying its right to do that but thats the way of life there, when we told them about battery farms manny of them actually walked away in disgust.

Everyone has differant veiws on stuff like this and unfortunatly that is chinas veiw on animals

contrary to what police would like to have you believe the main cause of road accidents is from people trying to avoid animals on the road especially in rural roads where it counts to 70% of accidents

my friend was in hospital because some tit tried to avoid a crow on a dual carrageway crashing into my friend ... so yeah i stand by my pile up arguement thank you very much

See, the thing is, you started this argument. Also, regardless of what you might believe, that statement was very insulting to me because I'm not like that. I don't really care about killing animals, it happens all the time. I believe I remember saying something along the lines of we can justify killing them, but we shouldn't torture them. Which in no way called for your comment about people like me causing wrecks. Because I see those kinds of people as idiots and tree huggers. You associated me with the kind of people who go around talking about you should never kill an animal for any reason, which couldn't be further from what I said. When you did that, you called me an idiot and a tree hugger. Which I am not. Again, I know I overreacted, but I was pissed. You can't call someone stupid for no reason and expect them not to get pissed about it.

And I really only asked that we drop this because 1) this conversation is now officially going around in circles, and 2) it's getting off topic, and thus doesn't belong on this thread.
