My point was, everything we're complaining about are basically things that are dumbing down and removing value from the game. Things you guys never had to begin with, so most of you don't know what we're complaining about. It's like if you walk up to someone who is blind from birth, and you tell them you just lost your eyes in a horrible accident... They won't get it. They'll empathize that you just lost something important for you, but they won't understand what you just lost because they never had it.

I'm one of those rare weirdos who is primarily interested in the single player campaign, and am thinking Christmas Gift. I also enjoy CoD games. I suspect I will probably get MWII. But the fact that IW are being a bit prickish makes me at least feel kind of bad about that fact. I fully acknowledge my hypocrisy here, but still wish great success and good fortune to those speaking their mind with their wallets, by going to Bad Company.

Honestly, the single player for MWII will probably still be good. I still won't buy it. Everything they've done lately from the price hike to the complete shit they took on the PC crowd makes me completely intolerant towards their own flaws. To me multiplayer is just as important (if not more) than single player, and multiplayer in MWII is dead. I'll be dipped in fuck if I fork over extra money for half a game from a company that just took a huge dump on the same people that got them where they are.

That's what happens to PC gamers. They always get screwed. Turning my back on the PC was the best decision I've ever made.

I don't get this mentality. To my mind it's like saying "I hated it when my legs hurt after running... So I cut them off!".

I didn't like Bad Company that much anyways. Also, since they are adding the fuckwits back into the sequel, I refuse to get it, simply because I hated listening to that fucking hick. Can't wait to get Modern Warfare 2, though. And, as someone said on the first page, no matter what any internet boycott says, MW2 will still get a huge number of sales. Again, I don't see what is so bad about them taking away the dedicated servers. I'd rather TF2 only have official servers.

Seriously, this past week I've seen nothing but hate threads for this game, all because they made a few silly decisions concerning their servers, and that's just it. For months beforehand you guys couldn't wait for this game, now you've all turned into gigantic whiners and frankly I'm sick of hearing people ***** about this game.

function to record in game,
if a hacker gets through VAC there is nothing you can do,
also there is a delay when the host leaves.

I'm still getting MW2, for the PS3 in my case so I won't notice anything of the horrible failure that'll be the PC version. However, I'm becoming more and more sure that I'll like BC2 a lot more than MW2.

That said, a lot of people who did so started looking at replacements for their previous warfare-based shooter of preference. I did too. And then I stumbled across this beauty.


Be still my beating heart... This looks bigger and better than MWII ever did. I never took a good look at Battlefield games simply because... I didn't. No reason, I was just "busy" with other warfare shooters.

Thus I'm ever so glad IW decided to shoot themselves repeatedly in both feet with a shotgun, since it made me discover this.

I feel like I'm back in high school. Was enamored over a girl that wasn't that big a deal, but I had such a crush on her I couldn't look at any other. Then she became a complete *****, I saw her for what she was, and with that I discovered a much prettier and smarter girl who had been looking at me all along.

I played the first BC; thought it was pretty good, but not life-changing. I didnt really like the multiplayer, because it was a little too big for my liking. (played it on 360, btw.) But im not sure about this one. The reason I liked MW's multiplayer in the first place was because when it first came out, everyone (including all the screaming pre-teens) were all caught up in Halo 3. But they've all migrated over to MW now, so maybe this is the next really good MP game...

We don't have that on the console version. To me, it just sounds like Infinity Ward is trying to make all the ports equally the same, and that's a good thing. The console gamers tend to always get second-hand ports, with a million features gone. I'm glad that the game is shaping up to be pretty close to it's console brothers.

Well I'm sorry but that just isn't good enough to reason to do this as:

Why should we lose features because of hardware or other restraints consoles have?
This series made itself on the PC forsaking that fanbase for quick cash is not on.

This is stuff that makes PC gaming PC gaming what if say Microsoft turned around and said you have to paid for XBL silver membership that is the only thing I can think of to compare with.

The reason that happens is as I have said above is restraints because the system can't handle what the PC can.

and if you'd play a game with dedicated servers on PC, you'd see there's no lag, and you can pick and choose the game you want to play.

matchmaking is based on the host, and it just throws you into situation, so its a roll of the dice.

Dedicated servers are a staple of PC gaming, and to just dismiss it is retarded
