Most everything I listen to I suppose I'm "not supposed to like." My friends are either metal heads (good metal) or nu-metal heads (not so good metal) with the outlier that likes mainstream pop junk.
I have quite a bit of really old blues stuff in my substantial classic rock collection. A lot of obscure names that were influences to the classic rockers and blues artist I like. Examples are like Muddy Waters, Elmore James, Buddy Guy, and others like Robert Cray and Keb' Mo'. Betcha you made quite a few trips to Google and/or Wikipedia with those names.
When I say I like this kind of stuff, it makes people three times my age laugh or ask "Who are they?" But I like what I like and those people can be shot in public for all I care.
