Impossible. Of course you like it. Didn't like Saving Private Ryan? That's silly. Silly.
And no, I'm not mad at you. Just disappointed.

Also, for some reason, I have a strange feeling my future kids will read this someday.
Dear Future Kids: How did you get Internet in the basement?
Incidently, High Fidelity?Berethond said:Never seen it, and probably never will.
It had some nice music, though. Hymn to the Fallen is some great stuff.
(It should be obvious I judge movies by their music.)
Fine you want someone pissed here you go, but if I get set on probation I will come after you.mrpenguinismyhomeboy said:OK, this is better. But it's very subtle anger, more passive aggressive. I want direct anger at me for not liking the film. I can detect some sour feelings but it's not good enough.SniperWolf427 said:Wow.
I can promise you that there are others who will agree. What makes your opinion special enough to dedicate it to an entire thread? Especially one without much room for discussion.
I liked it. There's your discussion.
You're gonna have to try harder.
Yeah, I agree. I think Hanks is a better producer/director than actor, and that series is proof.Bigeyez said:Meh it was good. Nothing really amazing about it but it was a solid movie. Then again I prefer the Band of Brothers miniseries over just about any other WWII movies/show/whatever.
exactly. flaming doesnt happen on a blatant command you have to disguise it with a ridiculous premise that is flawed in many ways and only substantiated through imaginary evidence. something like why the final fantasy series needs to die. that would generate a lot of flame.... hmmmBurck said:Please be more descriptive of why you didn't like the movie.mrpenguinismyhomeboy said:I watched the first part of it at my friend's house and I just became incredibly bored with it. I know it's a classic but I just didn't like it at all. Neither Tom Hanks nor Vin Diesel are very good actors and I found the whole plot of the movie rather unreal.
I guess what I'm saying is, how many of you want to kill me now, and how many of you agree with me?
From reading your post I learn pretty much nothing about why you didn't like it other than the acting of Tom Hanks, so say more.
And why are you asking for flaming? @ "how many of you want to kill me now"
do you think obama is evil or that clinton was? or is the government just evil when bush was presidentAXLE_BULLITT_19 said:Thats because You can have your opinion in the US and eat it too. but I did not like the cast but the movie is still good. Also the military does do this stuff just out of good will. Remember its the government that is evil not the Armed Forces.mrpenguinismyhomeboy said:Why is no one yelling at me? Why are you people so damn friendly?

would YOU watch it in the dark?MasterSqueak said:Would you watch it with a mouse?
There's nothing wrong with that, I do that all the time.Berethond said:Never seen it, and probably never will.

Seconded, I don't know why everyone loves that film so much. Enemy at the Gates is far better, in my humble opinion.mrpenguinismyhomeboy said:I watched the first part of it at my friend's house and I just became incredibly bored with it.
