I never wear a full helmet in any RPG, especialy Fallout New Vegas. My favorite character wears a combat helmet and glasses (because of the Four Eyes trait), and most of my other characters just wear the 1st Recon Beret or a hat of some sort

In Halo: Reach my Elite uses Ranger armor which is second lowest armor to unlock compared to the others, but the others are more ugly compared to Ranger.

That armor wasn't very good anyway. I took the Heavy version and it wasn't better than the Daedric armor I had. Admittedly, I had special Deadric armor but it had the exact same stats as normal Daedric, just some enchantments.

I've been using pretty weak armor with my Cowboy character in New Vegas and never wear a helmet (gotta have my Desperado hat) simply to keep with the theme. It also means I have a ton of money (almost 20,000 caps), because I sell almost every weapon and armor I come across.

In Dragon Age: Origins I didn't like putting helmets on my non-heavy/massive armor people, simply because I didn't like the way they looked. Even if they did remove them for conversations, I just didn't like walking around in them.

this, they really needed some better thin helmet things for the rogue like people.

also mass effect 2 and just about any other rpg where i can see my person, i prefer looking badass than having that extra .5+ armor or w/e.

What? stuff that I'm not going to use despite it's good stats, but then I rmeembered Fable 3's clothes don't have stats and any attractivenes is done by the opinion meter on your hero status.
