Listen, captchas can say some funny things (sometimes). But that doesn't mean every time your captcha says 'nip tuck', 'half life' or 'fuck me' that you need to add it on to the bottom of your post like it's comedy gold (strictly talking to the people with said habit here). Why do you feel the need to do that? Is it because you don't like captchas? Obviously I don't read as many threads as you, since every time I've seen it, it has just been there as ironically appropriate for the thread topic(Although I reckon half of it is just made up).
Then again I've never been one to get angry at a few superfluous words at the end of a post so I guess I just ignore it. I can't help but think you are either somewhat lacking in maturity or just looking for any excuse to make a thread about nothing.

Both, though I'm exaggerating the anger I displayed in my original post about how much I hate the superfluous words. I do find it irritating, yes, but I was kidding about ordering everyone to do as I demand. I mean, I guess I would like it if everyone stopped doing it, but you know, I think everyone took the whole angry rant too seriously. (Which I tried to avoid from happening by adding 'Now agree with me so I get a self-esteem boost' but meh - can't blame 'em if it rubbed them the wrong way)

Fair point. But on the topic of irritating things, Captcha quotes are quite a way down on my list, but maybe they'd be higher if I'd just had to fill one of the damn things out first.

I have a few theories here.

1) You really don't like it and therefore made a thread to inform to other members of the Escapist about this. But really? Not many people do it and sometimes the stroke of luck tht the captcha has something to do with a reply might be amusing. And it really pains you to read at the bottom of a post:

guy/gal: *insert "funny" answer*

2) You want a post badge of some sort and therefor chose a topic regarding something you knew would make people reply in your thread and therefor you are a troll??

Seriously I couldn't care less, I mean sometimes the captcha things are funny and amusing and sometimes people post them because of unkown stupid reasons but it isn't worth making a thread about? Then again we might have loads of stuff here that aren't necessary to make threads about...
