I fail to see how this is funny.

I don't know if i am allowed to reference to Games here (doubt i'm going to get beaten up for it though :p) but i remember one scene in Halo ODST where me and my friend just stopped in awkward silence. I haven't actually played much more of the game (he completed it when i was at my own house so we just went online multiplayer since), but that one cutscene always springs to mind. If you've played it and can't think which one, its where the punchline is
"so do i have to walk?"
*his vehicle blows up behind him*

I can agree with many other things people have put, Napolean Dynamite, a lot of Will ferrel movies... and i don't even know why i bother watching Gamer dogs now... oh, and i also don't find that Puppet guy funny... or many youtube videos (ah, i keep finding more, scrubs, any of the "something" movie series... )
Humour that i do like thats been mentioned is certain Monty Python skits, Vgcats (most of the time)
I also like Family guy and American dad, but i can honestly see why some people don't find it funny. i can only laugh for the first 2-3 episodes, then all the jokes just fail me.

But meh, peoples humour works differently. Some people love Memes, some crack up whenever you mention "cake" and "lies" in the same sentance (even if you didn't mean to), some people find it funny to pick on the smallest kid who's wearing glasses and is covered in spots (geez, not like he doesn't have enough problems. oh and that kids not me, i don't wear glasses).

Dylan Moran - Irish comedian quite popular in Ireland and the UK.My brother and some of my friends think he's the best stand up around.Have you ever been in a pub and some drunken idiot is just spouting non-stop bullshit?Well that pretty much sums up Moran's comedy style
What about Black Books? In my opinion, one of the best comedies of the decade. Rarely, if ever relies on OMG Random!, toilet humour or any of the other things that people have been complaining about in this thread.
Seen it and tbh Bill Bailey is the only funny thing in it.Moran's character is exactly what his stand up is like and it just doesn't appeal to me

I don't understand how anyone could find that 'Monster Truck with legs' joke Yahtzee made a few episodes ago funny. I mean, where's the joke?

Although there was an episode or two I liked, I never really got the appeal of 'Friends' either. Most of the jokes are ruined by the fake laughter, as it's almost like a cue-card telling you when to laugh.

The Simpsons went downhill around the time of that Tony Hawks episode, I remember that being the first one I never liked and haven't really liked any since.

Family Guy was funny until the novelty wore off, American Dad has lasted a little longer thanks to it not being "random for random's sake" as much.

XKCD and Adam Sandler seem to be getting a lot of slating, I'd just say they are hit and miss. Some I can't stand, some are great.

Yeah, but in one's opinion if something is unfunny, it's unfunny and we blame it on the lack of talent from the person (or people) delivering the humor.
I'd post what I find fun here, but this is a thread to to the opposite.

Anti-bashers: Bashing has its time, too y'know.

That is also a really good point. And everyone is allowed to enjoy verbally abusing stuff they find to be useless dribble.

I have yet to understand the popularity of The Office, or indeed anything Ricky Gervais has ever done.

Family Guy. Yes I know in this day and age everything can be deemed as offensive to some race, religion etc but I believe this show takes things too far.

B...But I like Dane Cook...'s earlier stuff. After the second CD, I wasn't a fan anymore.

I hated the movie Meet the Parents. It made me go D8 more than XD I just felt so sorry for Ben Stiller's character. I mean, all that crappy stuff happening to him just broke my heart. True, sometimes other people's misfortune makes me laugh, but when it's one thing right after another, it just makes me feel sorry for the character.

Everything Ricky Gervais touches. I find his stuff utter crap for the most part.

Also, Jimmy Carr. Why does anyone think that kid is gods gift to comedy?

I am a bit saddened by the fact that as I grow older and older, the things that make me laugh are more and more scarce. While there are some things I have never found funny (such as things like the videos on Americas Funniest Homevideos*shudder*) There are so many things I used to laugh at a lot when I was younger but now I do not.
Like poo-jokes. I bet there was a time when I was like five I liked those.
I laugh so rarely now, I'm just worried what I'll be like when I get REALLY old. 40 or so <.< I don't want to be the stern mum who can't even muster a sympathetic laugh at her kids attempts at humor.

The only thing I never really seem to find funny is British humor. I love the office but hate the British version. It's not all of them I mean Garth Marenghi's Darkplace is one of my favorite shows but nobody else seems to like it lol.

The thing is they don't really do anything new with it. Just the same tired cliches over and over again.

I never understood why people think Ricky Gervais is funny. I never liked The Office, some of his stand up is okay, I actually like his stand up but anything else he does....no, I can't really get it and now he irritates me.

Also King of Queens. I do not like that show, the husband is an irresponsible manchild, the wife is just as bad a whiny *****, and the old guy acts like an asshole and thinks his age allows him to be so.
Though I do like anytime the husband does impersonations of Jackie Gleason or Fred Flintstone, if he goes to others shows at all...

Nonono. I said that you have a good point that people are entitled to their opinions about what humor is good or bad.

I also said that everyone is entitled to bash the humor they think is useless dribble. Hence, I do not have an issue with the opinions expressed in this thread. I was not saying that *I* was verbally abusing anyone. Because, well. I wasn't. XD

Anything that has to do with, and I mean no offense here fellas, but "frat boy humor".

Seriously. Adam Sandler and his ilk? Not funny.

Superbad and other movies like that? Not funny.

I just don't get that low-brow "humor" I guess, I want something a bit more dark and/or intelligent. =/
I agree completely. I watched Superbad and didn't find it funny what so ever, yet so many people rave on about it.

I don't find Jo Brand funny at all. Just the same jokes recycled. Same with Frankie Boyle who just says rude words to sound funny.
