It does quite suck for people who have legitimate health concerns that they themselves didn't bring about though (like cancer). That's why fat people ruin everything, roller coasters, airplanes, health care.

Cancer can be cause by smoking as well as drug abuse and as such can be self inflicted.

Lynphatic nodes: your glands either side of your throat, your armpits and groin. I think theres another place too. If they're swollen you'd kinda notice.

And yet, you be amazed just how often people do come here with some pretty surprising health issues. I suppose if your really shy or embarrassed about a problem going to the doc could be an issue for you, were as on a forum you create a phantom account and keep your anonymity as well as there actually being medical processionals who troll these boards. *Shrug*

Several actually. A few on my neck and last night I found one on one of my testicles. They are all fairly hard and round and maybe half the size of a grape. When I approach my father with this he either tells me that I don't have cancer or that if it is cancer we can't afford to have work done. We have no medical insurrance and no real money, because he went and lost his job the useless fuck.
I need help guys (and ladies) , does this sound like cancer, and if it is what should/can I do?

Sounds like you probably got same thing I used to have. I can't remember what they're called, but they're just little pockets of calcium and shit that hardened, just happens to be in the same spot that cancer can be. Go to a free clinic or something anyway, though. Even if it's not cancer I feel that "fairly hard round lumps" in your neck could fuck some shit up sooner or later.

You're 20. You almost certainly do not have cancer.

Find a free/cheap clinic and have a basic check-up done: poking and prodding, no fancy MRI business or anything. They'll probably tell you you've got a lymphatic infection, like some other posters have mentioned.

Ask what you need to do to make it go away & stay away. Chances are, "eat healthy, get 8 hours of sleep a night, and exercise regularly" will do the trick.

Ahhhhh it is this kind of ignorance that gets people killed. Thousands and thousands of young adults are diagnosed with cancer. Telling him it's almost certainly not cancer might mean he won't bother to get it checked out.
Always say that it's possibly cancer -which it really can be- and then when it turns out to be cysts, benign tumors, fat/calcium deposits, or any other harmless/easily treatable condition he'll be better off having had it checked out.
