I had a dream

When I was young, I had a dream where Tigger's head was in front of those red-and-white-swirly thingies, and he kept asking "What did I ever do to you!" in a ghostly voice. Yeah, I don't know either.

Most of the dreams I got once I got a few years older became either incredibly mundane or (rather rarely) about a person I happen to like.

Because they're fucking terrifying, that's why!
The first one particularly so, that sounds properly disturbing...

I have a weird thing with teeth as it is, I cringe like hell at the sound of fork on teeth.

That's the kind of dream that would give me a cold sweat. And screaming.
I'm pretty sure there would be screaming...

I had a dream about a building on fire and collapsing with people still inside it, and it was all caught on a news camera. There was a close up on this woman inside a large gaping hole on the wall of the building, and she was swallowed up by the collapsing building and you can here her screaming, even in the subtitles (yes, subtitles).

After waking up and taking a look at the newspaper, the front page had a image of a person buried under a pile of rubble with only his hand showing.
I had to convince myself that it was a coincidence.

I had a dream where Gerald(from "Hey, Arnold!")was trying to sell me a boat, a nice red one. He wanted £10 for it and I was still trying to haggle.

I'm cheap in my dreams.

My most terrifying dreams were a series of nightmares I had between the age of 5 and 7. They featured kidnappers dressed in completely black with black claws and a black hammerhead shark head for a head.
One of these dreams had me and my brother playing in our basement. We then noticed a door that had never been there before. We opened the door and there was this really steep winding staircase. We climbed the stairs and once we got to the top a man told us to be careful on the way back down. So we went back down the stairs and when we got to the bottom we heard what sounded like a door bell ring coming from the cellar. Then the lights went off and the only source of light was coming from the door at the top of our basement stairs. We frantically ran for the stairs. My brother was ahead of me. I tripped and he made it to safety. I looked back just in time to see two hammerhead shark people reaching for me. They grabbed me with their claws and then I woke up.
Whenever I woke up after any of the hammerhead shark people dreams, I always was jolted awake by a falling sensation that violently sent a shiver through my spine. I remember every single one of these dreams. In fact, these dreams are the farthest back I can remember in my life.

Like I said, I didn't sleep for a week after it, and then I started hallucinating on the train to university. Nowadays I've mostly stopped remembering my dreams, but there's been a few times where I've basically woke up dry sobbing with fear. Thankfully, it seems, to an extent, to be getting rarer. Sometimes I'd wake up every night like that, without exception - sometimes more than once.

I don't get dreams like that. My dreams are usually in movie form and many would make for decent to amazing films. Last night's dream (or at least what little I remember of it) was a courtroom drama about a man fighting for his innocence against a solid case. The twist? He did it. I was woken up before I got to end and found out whether or not he was found guilty.

I've had several dreams where I've gotten into and managed to kill quite a number of my friends in urban firefights. I think I only died once to this Arabian hitman that wiped out all my backup and left me out of ammo, and he shot me in the heart while I was on the ground after essentially surrendering. On the other end of the spectrum, sometimes I've been able to take on 5 opponents at once with just an assault rifle and some good cover and aim. I've even shot a few unsuspecting friends in the back just for survival's sake.

*Hugs*

That sounds pretty awful...
I've only had a few bad experiences with dreams, but nowhere near that...

I liked to write down all the dreams I have in a journal right when I wake up so I can remember them perfectly

So far, I've got 32 dreams recorded in the last 2 months. I dream a lot, yes so I could pick a number of those to talk about.
That increases chance of lucid dreaming too because you should notice a pattern (probably sub consciously)

about spongebob with a chainsaw...he tried to kill me. It was freaking scary as hell.

Anyone else have a weird dream or anything else like that?
Well, living in a pineapple under the sea would drive you insane, too. One day, Squidward looked at him the wrong way, and he SNAPPED!

Number 12. Odd that you picked that one as it was the first anxiety dream I've ever had.
Well, it started off with me in the car driving frantically towards...somewhere. I don't know my destination but I know who I'm looking for.

A girl whom I'm in love with is in trouble and I can't get to her. No matter how hard I try, I can't get to her.

I'm talking to her on the phone, listening to her crying for me. Wishing I was there for her. Telling me she loves me over and over to get me there faster.

I try to console her the best I can. I do not know where I'm going or how to get there, but I just keep driving.

The next thing I remember, her screaming stops. It is replaced by one of her friend's voice. She tells me I'm too late. Tells me I should have been there for her and it's all my fault she's gone.

Then I wake up crying.

How's that for ya?
