If they really affect your life that much, there's probably deeper issues. Once you disconnect, they're gone - back out into the ether from whence they came, and you'll potentially never have to deal with them again if you take appropriate measures. While you're in-game, the mute facility exists for a reason and is free for everyone to use.

Long story short: no need to get worked up.

Not disagreeing with the 'I hate kids' sentiment, of course, but for me it's a result of living in a variety of chav towns full of parents who can't control their brats and older brats who can't control themselves, so I think it's entirely reasonable.

Once heard a dude on Halo 3 having a conversation with his mother about Bagel Bites. 'Twas most entertaining.

You've never heard the word "troll" in your life, have you? I guess we should provide solace from their harsh verbal beating?
Seriously, if two kids can set an example of all of them, why not let one black person stealing your car set an example of all black people oh wait, that's racism.
That was an example. I've had kids like that online all the time yelling and cussing and talking about how cool they are because they watch South Park. I know not all kids are like that, just most of them with a mic.

i also can't stand kids. if i ever have one then i'm setting it up for adoption. i hate it when your playing a m rated game that's filled with gore, bad words (like gears of war 2)and tits (like grand theft auto 4) and kids always try to find a way to get the game and spoil your online experience. i think it should be illegal for people with annoying voices (not just children), broken mics (you know, the guys who have lots of static when they talk), people who listen to music and heavy breathers. but that's roughly 99.9% of the people who use head sets. the other 0.1% of people are fun to talk with can actually pretty cool.
I try to have intelligent conversations with people, and occasionally, I can find the rare person who also doesn't want to be a total dickwad and you know what? That's the most fun I've ever had online.

I find that offensive. I'm only 15 and you don't see me mic spamming or spreading nonsense or other idiocy.
Then you are one of the few good ones, like the couple of kids we have in our clan, the exception that proves the rule, etc.

Alright I have made it clear to my friends and family that I do not like children.
So you hate a demographic of people. Good for you! What do you want me to do about it?

Honestly, you don't sound like much of an adult. You're supposedly born in 1985, yet you still care what children think about you (apparently). Maybe it's time to get over it?

You know what I hate about a lot of kids? They can't distinguish reality from fiction. I mean, little kids between 3 and 5 are fine but if you're in elementary school or above it's not okay in my world. I met this kid this past summer in a space museum and he asked me if I've been to Houston. I have, so I said yes. Then he asked me if I went in the gravity chamber (WTF?). I said no and asked him what it was. He said, and I quote, "It's this thing at NASA where you go inside it and they turn off the gravity." I said that it's not possible to turn off gravity. Then he said, "Well, on Disney Channel..." I tuned him out after that. He was eight years old.

I wasn't like that. I don't do hypocrisy.

Most kids are okay, if you get used to them. A four-year-old I know is the best behaved kid I've ever met.

Well I'm actually 15 and rarly use my mic unless it's really needed for those special rounds. And whenever I'm using it, I will occasionally say something that will help my team or I will ask them something. But you are not wrong either, alot of kids my age in town are very annoying when they're on a mic (or without a mic) who repeadedly say one liners like "yeeeeeeeah brew" or "see me i'm cutting" which gets frustrating and annoying, very fast

Kids are only fun for one thing. And that's confusing the shit out of them.
Everytime the annoying ones are on Live I use really long obscure words and listen to thier reactions.

The best thing to do is turn ur mic down kinda listen to what to thier saying and hunt them down only killing them. This works a treat because it shows how painfully poor they are at playing (especially fun if they have a geust with them because the geust has probably been owned by this person in split screen and thinks thier awesome).

That is also why I hate kids, but usually they have to be between 4 to 2 years younger then me. Anything other then that i'm alright, but i still find them annoying

Take it from someone who was once 14, when you have the opportunity to troll someone, you'll do it, then probably laugh about it the next day at school. Sure they are annoying little fucks who we all hate and need to shut up, but to attempt to counter them doesn't make you appear any more mature than they are.

Oh, that mic comment, "I have 2 one hundred dollar mics sitting next to me", just makes you look like an arrogant asshole. Not only did you spend $100 and a mic, twice, but you had to make sure everyone knew of their material worth. Then you claim you can't use it because USB mics won't work with the game (which we all know they will). In case you didn't know, 99.9% of the people that claim this shit are just making it up to appear superior to the others, when in fact they are just making themselves look, again, like an arrogant asshole.

I could write a paragraph as long and unorganized as yours on why people that make false, outrageous claims with no support piss me off, but I don't. You know why? I know everyone else hates them just as much as I do. Even if you did purchase those mics, it's the large majority of people that didn't which ruin it for everyone. Sort of like kids these days. Just get over it and ignore them.

They don't really bother me by themselves. I generally just mute all kids immediately so I don't have to listen to them talk. It gets annoying when people on your team don't understand the concept of muting and shout back at them, so more people have to be muted, and then the team loses its communicative ability.
