You know that it's not a good sign when you find yourself saying/shouting/screaming those words aloud at the screen (or just softly to yourself). When did this last happen to you? Don't pretend it never has - if you are the silent type, the question is: when was the last time you shut off the program/console mid-game in disgust?
For me, it's Little Big Planet. Girlfriend bought it for my birthday in November and we thought it'd be fun to play together...yeah, right. Controls are so bad that she couldn't get past the third stage, so we had to give up on co-op. Next point; controls are so bad it is no fun to play even for a seasoned gamer like me (even though it is real easy and short, I suspect the control problems were purposefully added to make the game last longer than 2 hours). It's an excercise in frustration, made worse by the utter pointlessness of it all. Lacking motivation, characters and story, the game is just a long sample reel for the editor part, which doesn't interest me in the least. I've failed to see the point in game creating tools ever since the "Shoot'em Up Construction Kit" for the C64, and LBP hasn't changed that a bit.
May be just me...but anyway, that's a game that frequently causes me to utter those three words instead of cursing. (Heck, not even Mirror's Edge caused me to say it, and that was surely the worst game I played last year
