Company of Heroes. I think the game is really awesome, but I HATE PLAYING IT! I'm sure it's just the way I play it, but too often do my guys just sit there watching nearby friendlies being attacked without helping out, or worse, get attacked themselves and do nothing about it. Hell, I've had my guys pinned down by an armored car, and they all start auto-crawling towards their attacker to "flee to safety." Needless to say, I had to replace them.

Supaplex.

I finished it, though. After, you know, 10 years or so (Started playing when I was 7, game has 111 levels, difficulty ramps up a lot.)

Mirrors edge for sure. The game isn't super difficult. But when I tried to get some of the achievements it suddenly felt as though I was controlling an autistic monkey. Frustrating...downright frustrating.

Ninety Nine Nights.
ORCS, TROLLS, ORCS, ORCS WITH A GIANT, ORCS, TROLLS.
Retarded squads that don't follow you when you press the group together button. They do piss all damage and cheer each time they kill something and then ignore the rest of their army. So it lies on you and your invicible but stupid helpers.

Mass Effect.

'Twas a Massive Fail

probably the slowest paced action game I've ever played. too much talky not enough fighty. and even when there are fighting segments, it's like trying to navigate a rhinoceros through an overcrowded pool full of small children.

i keep trying to play it, but the people at BioWare need to realize that if we wanted to read endless amounts of dialogue we would read just books

Earthworm Jim 3D. completely destroyed the series with crappy controls, ugly and boring levels and very poor attempts at being funny(a cow general gets hit by a cow. har har HAR!).
should have known not to buy anything with 3D in the title (like Sonic 3D wasnt enough).
Do avoid anything with "3D" in the title, apparently, that's the best bit of it; fuck everything else.

I often get pissed off at cheating AI in multiplayer games. The "easy" AI on Worms Open Warfare is pretty awesome at drawing parabolic paths. The only salve from me taking them back is the actual multiplayer.
Avoid anything with 3D in the title eh? I point you towards Duke Nukem 3D. That game ruled.
I too will add Wolfenstein 3D to the list of good games that end in 3D.

Farcry 2 about the 30th time to kill the same guard post.

No, its an action RPG.

It is allowed to have lots of talking in it.

For me:

Little Big Planet, Haze, Gangland, Spore and finally Assasins Creed

Three easy picks:
-Sonic Unleased, for being unadulterated crap.
-The part of Gears 2 where you are tasked with protecting a comm. center from a bunch of reavers with a mounted machine gun (SOLO! no help whatsoever from AI...even a couple of potshots would have been great!) on hardcore. I had to skip that entire section after 30 minutes consisting of 45-second increments of failure.
-Fallout 3, for messing up so frequently and without real cause on my laptop. I love playing it when it works, but when it doesn't, I feel like I'm losing my mind.

Was playing Gears of War 2 at a friends house. For and hour and a half we played the same map and gametype. I couldn't stop playing. But at the same time IT WAS SO FRUSTRATING! GAAAAAAHH!!! "I WAS HITTING THE B BUTTON, I SHOULD HAVE CHAINSAWED YOU!!!1!" "QUIT MINING THE SPAWN!!!" And a stream of cursing the entire time. We were right above his dad's room. needless to say he heard.

I would have to say the new prince of persia. It's as if Ubisoft decided they were going to make the most frustrating game in history, and in that respect they succeeded. I also hated viking and sonic unleashed, but not as much.

Killer 7. Can't say I "hated " it but jeez, I was glad when it was over.

Stitched up gimp bungees down...

...speaks as if through a ten foot tube underwater...

(subtitles)

Gimp: Master, this is strange here... (insert interminably long pause after every sentence)

Me: yes?

Gimp: I afraid it is very strange master....

Me: Ok.

Gimp: So very strange...

Me: All-right

Gimp: So very VERY strange...

Me: Get on with it.

Gimp: So strange that you may not believe me...

Me: Try me.

Gimp: So strange that I'm not sure "I" believe it myself...

Me: Right.

Gimp: It's the strangest thing I've ever seen...

Me: ...

Gimp: And I've seen some pretty strange things...

Me: :\

Gimp: So strange i don't know how to describe it...

Me:

Gimp: So strange it's bizarre...

Me: ARRRGH (runs around room, tearing out hair, treading on the dog and frightening the kids)

Company of Heroes.

I really, really hate that game. It takes EVERYTHING that is interesting, challenging and fun about RTS games and throws it right out of the window. What's left is a strategy game that is about as interesting as tic-tac-toe, but with shiny graphics.

And what pisses me off is that there are lots and lots of people who actually like that game. People who actually think this is the perfect RTS game. It's a really sad thing for the genre. One can only hope that Starcraft II will be able to redeem the genre and show the masses what a real RTS game is supposed to be like.

literally any 3rd person shooter or any sports game... came close to liking Just Cause but then I'd lightly brush against a car and get instakilled just after having dived out of a helicopter and pulled my chute about two meters from the ground.

Also the prince of persia warrior within... first one I completed in a free weekend (and decided to play through it again about a dozen times) followed by crippling disappointment with the second which I have yet to complete...

GTA san andreas!, I kept getting wasted from not eating at all, so apparently I have to go to my house to eat before I go on a killing spree?, no thank you R*!, I know its more realistic that way, but I thought we'd left realism when gangsta's were commandeering Harrier Jump Jets.

Most recently that would have to be Final Fantasy Tactics A2. Still towards the beginning of the game, just did my first auctions, and clans disgruntled with my performance keep popping up to "teach me a lesson."

Most dispatch tend to leave missions leave my people depressed, self doubting, or suicidal. And all the enemies I have to tight are a good 5+ levels ahead of me.

and the laws are crazy too, "Targeting adjacent units" wtf? "Actions by Nu Mou" ugh!
