Usually when I scream "I HATE THIS GAME!" I mean "man this is so hard yet kinda awesome!" because for some demented reason I like games that challenge me.
Me too. The biggest insult I could give a game would be "I don't really remember it".

Martian Gothic, for the PS1. The horrible game I love to hate. I play it usually once a year...

And I still can't tell you why.

The only type of games, i dont like are racing games, and most of the time i scream "i hate Lag" whist playing online, but the game brothers in arms:hell highway made me scream so many times, grathic feel really crap for some reason the gameplay rubbish, the guns are about as usefull as glasses for man with one ear, It just feels really fake as a whole, but every time i sell it i miss it.

Surprisingly, Fallout 3 for me. I felt obligated to beat the game, and once I did, I traded it in for a new game. I had it for a grand total of 36 hours!

Most recently that would have to be Final Fantasy Tactics A2. Still towards the beginning of the game, just did my first auctions, and clans disgruntled with my performance keep popping up to "teach me a lesson."

Most dispatch tend to leave missions leave my people depressed, self doubting, or suicidal. And all the enemies I have to tight are a good 5+ levels ahead of me.

and the laws are crazy too, "Targeting adjacent units" wtf? "Actions by Nu Mou" ugh!
Also, this game. I never had any issues with whupping on the bad guys, but the games 'helpful' suggestions about recruiting members and going to clan auctions come a wee bit early as you can't actually do them until you complete another couple story missions. So if you're like me you run around the map like an idiot for about an in-game week before deciding 'screw it, I'll just do the next quest' which is what you should have done in the first place.

But no, the reason I hate this game is the new 'loot' system. Monsters drop crap you can trade to the store for the privlege of buying new gear which teaches your characters new abilities, making this horribly perfect circle of
Kill Monsters(To get loot)-->Trade loot-->Buy new items-->Kill Monsters (To get loot & AP)-->Trade loot-->Buy new items-->Ad infinitum
...this is also the reason I keep playing this game. I'm caught in their perfectly dastardly cycle, and I want a Master Monk.

I scream I hate this game only when it is a really bad game. I think that it is not right to proclaim that I "hate this game" when I actully do love the game. But say that i hate it due to frustration.

Fallout 3 at the ending and also some of the other, stupider moments.

Also I said this playing MGS 3 when at the Volgin fight, then the motorbike section, then at the shagohod fight, then the other shagohod fight, then the other motorbike bit, then at the escort mission and then a the Boss fight.

Starcraft, Splinter Cell: Double Agent, and any version of Final Fantasy. Maybe "hate" is a bit strong... but I don't like those games.

I don't know, in 99 nights it didn't bother me. You're kind of the one man army and you don't have to rely on your incompetent helpers. Besides, the more incompetent they get, the more kills for you.
But the plot was hardly explained and dialogue was beyond awful. When she kills a goblin child and her brother has a fit about it, what was that about? The battles were designed for an army vs army style clash and you have to do it on your own effectively. With a plot that bad it hardly seemed worth it. Also, for a majority of the missions, I had no idea where I was going or what I was meant to achieve. You just follow paths and kill stuff until you get another meaningless cutscene and get molested by a giant.

While I haven't said it myself, the number of times I hear a Steam friend say it over the mic when we play Versus in Left 4 Dead is simply amazing, particularily at these moments:

- Boomer vomits, only to have the vomit inexplicably miss the survivors, as other infected look on seeing the vomit pass right through the survivor models.
- Boomer explodes really close the survivors, yet some how they have nothing on them because of a small height difference.
- Smoker tongue shoots out only to miss/break inexplicably.
- A Smoker caught someone (finally) only to have a hunter pounce the target or tank hit the target, freeing the target inadvertently.
- Hunter pounces, only to have the pounce go odd and "slide" across the targets head.
- As a Survivor, be incapped and killed with a team mate within melee distance of them, if only they would turn around when they ask for help they could have been free almost immediately when first targeted.
- Being set on fire as the Tank before you even take (the first) control.
- Being one or two infected versus a team of four players and no one on their side team switches to rectify that team stack because "they want to play with friends" when what they really mean is "we like to make other players rage quit when the points say we have 'raped' them repeatedly on each map because we made a friend's only lobby, stacked one team, and then opened it to the public so we could 'pub stomp'"

And many other situations in Versus, some bugs, some exploits, some hacks, and a whole lot of douche bags. Its amazing how much the awesome coop Campaign mode contrast with Versus mode in terms of a fun game. Still, Versus has its moments when two roughly equal (in skill and cooperation) teams face off in Versus, can produce some really fun times.

Do avoid anything with "3D" in the title, apparently, that's the best bit of it; fuck everything else.
Uhh, and what about "Duke Nukem 3D?"

The game I hate is Prince of Persia. The whole series. The developers exhausted the first set by using the Prince's acrobatics as an excuse to put the entire game on the walls of these palaces and whatnot. Nothing is EVER direct, and it's aggravating. How the hell do people get around these things, anyway? How do the GUARDS do it? Do they have a secret staircase? Where is it? Running on walls is cool, but it loses its coolness when you do it ALL THE TIME. It becomes walking, but less convenient and less within my control. The new Prince of Persia managed to be even worse by eliminating the concepts of reward and punishment from the game completely.

Final Fantasy X-2.

Or specifically, I loved the game but I threw a small hate temper tantrum at the part when you had to chase some syndicate bad guys up a mountain and my character wasn't interpreting the jump button right, which left me with a huge chunk of time in the race missing.

i have yet to beat any of these games.

i think i've uttered more obscenities trying to beat these game than i did when trying to beat "Gears of War 1" on Insane.
Skate? You dislike Skate? I, myself, never finished it but that was because of difficulty not because I dislike it.
