Last Remnant. The combat is EPIC at first, but it gets tiring when you have this big war montage every time you run into so much as a beetle, and since half the combat is controlled by the computer, they tend to be retarded and either do something stupid or let the computer rape them before they lift a finger

Amazingly no one has said Burnout. I love the series, it's just frustrating.
I yelled at Burnout 3 alot, but I loved it all the same anyway.

Nothing but stepping on a pad to bad pop songs, I wouldn't mind this game as much if it wasn't now in high schools considered to be PE material.
Finally someone else shares my view! And I didn't know that last part and am even more grateful to have left PE many moons ago.

Last time I remember thinking that was a long time ago when I played this game called Dungeon Lords, it was like Morrowind but with everything good about it taken out and the immersion reduced to Absolute zero.

I would say that Soul Calibur III was it for me. I was doing so well, dodging and weaving with Raphael. And then I reached Mitsurugi. No matter how I tried, I couldn't break past him. I couldn't even force a fucking ring out.

Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 has done it to me recently, but more so for reminding me how fucking cheap Shao Khan was.

As far as games I've actually hated, Hunter: The Reckoning: Wayward comes to mind. Muddy cutscenes mixed with unimaginative dungeon crawl gameplay made me regret not using that $10 bill on something more fun...like a parking ticket.

Sonic The Hedgehog for the 360 is the most recent, but other games it has happened for are Fuzion Frenzy 2 (only game I every returned after buying) and Resident Evil: Zero Mission (or hour, I forget) That game was my first RE game I ever played, and so far, the last. Having to find fire to kill the zombies is dumb when they are your main enemy. Later I found out that that game is very hated and most RE games are not like that, so RE5 will be my second shot at the series.
I actually recommend you play Resident Evil : Rebirth for the Gamecube (it's the remake of the original game) if you can, as well as 5. *4 changed the series completely, it's still awesome, but you should really get at least some play time with the original / remake.

Also, stay as far away as possible from Resident Evil : Gaiden. *shudders*

ON TOPIC : The most recent game I screamed that at was.....Forza Motorsport series. I know it's a simulation, but it's all my roommate will play. It pisses me off because it's just so god damn fucking boring. If I want to drive my car in such a manner, I will ACTUALLY DRIVE. >8/ Burnout series, all the way.

Dynasty Warriors escort missions. ESPECIALLY if it's required to gain a bonus weapon or item.

You have to literally clear the entire fucking area of enemies before the person you're escorting will even hightail it to the escape point. They will just sit back and slowly bash away at every enemy that had the misfortune of being in the immediate area. You can't even go somewhere to do something else or they will cry for reinforcements every half a minute and get killed before you can reach them.

every sonic game ive played after sonic adventure two. secret rings was damn near impossible to play, riders (both) was incredibly boring, sonic heroes had too much changing around in the team structure (which made it seem almost like a hybrid with puzzle games at some points) and repeated stages, and shadow the hedgehog had boring, repetitive, uninspired, and insultingly easy combat. im never gonna play a sonic game again unless i hear its really good. oh wait, secret rings got fairly good reviews, and i thought it was the worst of the ones that i mentioned. ill just wait until i hear from other escapists that the new sonic game sonic and the whatever is good. which will be never.

Was playing Gears of War 2 at a friends house. For and hour and a half we played the same map and gametype. I couldn't stop playing. But at the same time IT WAS SO FRUSTRATING! GAAAAAAHH!!! "I WAS HITTING THE B BUTTON, I SHOULD HAVE CHAINSAWED YOU!!!1!" "QUIT MINING THE SPAWN!!!" And a stream of cursing the entire time. We were right above his dad's room. needless to say he heard.
It was still a fun New Year's party...
And, no, you weren't hitting the B button.

A lot of people have said Assassin's Creed, and I'm inclined to agree. Its a fun game and I enjoyed it and all, but there are some parts and aspects that are downright irritating. Like the guard's x-ray vision at the worst possible time. Most platformers will get me to say that at least once because they are just plain frustrating, that's kind of the nature of the game. FFXII, I tried. Oh how I tried to enjoy it; but the story was too convoluted and too slow in coming to the for front. I couldn't even like any of the characters, except maybe Basch and Balthier (I know I spelled that wrong) and the voice acting sounded like they found some people on the street and refused to let them leave the studio until they read the lines. I just couldn't get into it.

Mirror's Edge. Although that may not be fair. I mostly just hate Faith. I have hated games before, but I've never ever found myself shouting 'Just GRAB THE LEDGE YOU STUPID B****!' before until I played this.

Usually when I scream "I HATE THIS GAME!" I mean "man this is so hard yet kinda awesome!"
That is exactly what I was just thinking. I lost track of how many times I needlessly died while playing Mirror's Edge and then broke out yelling a string of profanity in frustration and annoyance. Even then, I'd just load the last save and do it all over again, death and yelling and all. I'm either really stubborn or I just don't learn.

I don't know, in 99 nights it didn't bother me. You're kind of the one man army and you don't have to rely on your incompetent helpers. Besides, the more incompetent they get, the more kills for you.
But the plot was hardly explained and dialogue was beyond awful. When she kills a goblin child and her brother has a fit about it, what was that about? The battles were designed for an army vs army style clash and you have to do it on your own effectively. With a plot that bad it hardly seemed worth it. Also, for a majority of the missions, I had no idea where I was going or what I was meant to achieve. You just follow paths and kill stuff until you get another meaningless cutscene and get molested by a giant.
Yeah, I will not argue with any of that, but quite honestly, I didn't even the slightest plot element when I popped that game in. I expected me killing a lot of dudes and that's what the game delivered. To me, it was a great game. Exactly how I expected it, devoid of story yes, but totally expected too, and appreciated that way to some extent.
Besides, when you have whole armies on the screen at once, you should never expect great AI because it is basically devided by whatever number of peeps on screen. The more the dumber.
True. To be honest when I put the game in I expected to get an over-trumpeted story but it was the opposite problem.

My understanding of the plot:
You are human and you've got some buddies. You're meant to be the good side. You're fighting ugly creatures and are because they are ugly, they are therefore evil. Aparently this shit has hit the fan and something might happen to the world.

My understanding of the gameplay:
AAABABBABAABAAABABABAABABABBABABBBABAABABABA
Then your gauge fill up and you press this... are you ready?
Y
A
A
A
AAAB
Then you repeat. You can jump as well if you want but unlike Devil May Cry there isn't any skill or pattern to the fighting. But DMC is awful for other reasons which I won't go into now. N3 and DMC are the only games I haven't completed on 360 (of which I own, obviously). Oh, and Condemned but that's because I reached the school level and yeah... scary stuff. Haven't played it since.

Afro Samurai. Such a fun game until you get to this section where Ninja Ninja is yelling "Cut Da Ropes!" twenty minutes and four restarts later, The rope was still intact. I found myself saying "I am cutting the Fu@$(*g ropes you punk ass *****!"
