Warhawk. The damn thing swings between unbearable and brilliant so often that playing for more than half an hour makes you bi-polar.

Most recently, Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams. I've uttered that four-word phrase many, many, many times during my DoD play sessions (there really haven't been all that many of those, however, because the game just completely sucks.) Part of the problem is that I really loved Onimusha 2, and everything that was good in that game is bad in DoD.

Graphics:
Oni 2: Good
Oni DoD: Better, but no photo-realistic pre-rendered backgrounds

Music:

Oni 2: Atmospheric, immersive
Oni DoD: Okay, but not as memorable

Length:

Oni 2: Long enough to feel nice and meaty, short enough to encourage more play
Oni: DoD: Way, Waaaaay too long

Bosses:

Oni 2: Few enough of them that the game retains a bit of that survival horror feel, bosses are tough but fair (especially if you understand the magic system)
Oni DoD: At least one boss at the end of every level, often two. Bosses never get stunned, can't have their combos interrupted, do insane amounts of damage and just overall suck

Controls:

Oni 2: A bit stiff with the whole "no analogue stick use" thing, but very precise overall
Oni DoD: Very sloppy. Impossible to cancel out of combos once started, slippery controls in general with the blocking/evading

I could go on forever, but I'll leave it at that.

Skate 2 defintely provoked me into saying some very harsh things. I couldn't tell if the game was bad or if I just sucked so much that I couldn't enjoy it. Also, the huge platforming section towards the end of Afro Samurai.

The platforming up to that point was horrible, but used very sparsely. But now you've got an entire 20 section of it with thousands of glitches and bugs preventing you from reaching the next fucking wall because your character refuses to accept the fact that he needs to jump AND grab onto something. It took me 50 minutes to get past the first section to a boss fight, and then I was moved to ANOTHER evil platforming section almost EXACTLY like the first one. I just saved and shut it off there.

What is difficult about the controls in Little Big Planet..
There is X for jump and R1 to hang onto something, how in the worlds could anything be more easy than that?

Dead rising. Roman's constant calls were annoying but at least he didn't call while you were in the middle of getting devoured by the undead. Then gets pissed off when you don't pick up.
dead rising for me to

you guys know you can turn off the phone calls on the mobile lol
But doesn't that stop the plot from advancing?
don't think so?

Most of the time when I get vocally violent about a game, it is simply due to frustration rather than a perception on my part that the game is bad.

I don't say "I hate this game!" when playing a bad game. I say, "wow this game is bad". I don't hate bad games, I pity them.

I love Dissidia (basically Super Smash Bros with Final Fantasy characters), but sometimes it can be total BS! For instance, my lvl. 100 character was fighting another lvl. 100 character of the same type (we were both Onion Knight from FF3). I do a base damage of 24 to him with each hit. He does 888 to me. We have similar equipment. "WTFM?!"

Basically any fighting game. Usually due to the AI having major mood swings between 'Hey, i'ma gonna sit here and let you beat me up' and 'Raaaaaaa!! Fight me will you!?! I'll just dish out a combo no human opponent can do.'

Dead or Alive 4 is the prime candidate for my 'What... the heck just happened? Oh, that last boss... again.'

Heck, the only time i've ever REALLY lost my temper was on Soul Calibur 2 trying to do one of the harder challenges or something, threw my controller to the floor in disgust and really strained not to break the disk (Blasphemy, i know)

monster hunter series, that game is insanely hard, yet this is the number 1 reason i have stuck with the series, no hand holding in that game, it's raw skill, i scream my head off at this game on a regular basis.

meh, not so much the single player games.. for example i beat COD4 and COD5 on veteran and didnt scream.. i just sigh and start over again when an enemy hits me from 500 yards with an AK-47 that is only realistically effective up to 300 yards with a marksman.

lol ok its annoying, but i just perservere and go again...

the only time i scream or turn off the console is during online play, in any game, if its laggy or im having a really bad day, etc

Dynasty Warrior Gundam... The mech parts were fine. fly around kill stuff. What really turned me off was the chracters. I didn't like ANY of them. Most of them were just confident jackasses. As far as that goes the game would have been better if they would've just stayed quiet

You've just pointed out the Synopsis of every Gundam series... Ever. Every character is a over-confident jackass. Except in Gundam SEED, where everyone whines nonstop about their troubles.

X=Jump, R1=Grab...
I can see how a "seasoned" gamer would struggle with this setup.

I've never said that I hate a game, but the latest "Fuck this shit" moments have been coming from Midnight Club L.A.

Seriously, sometimes you can fuck up so hard on those races, and you feel like it's not even warrented. Oh no, I bumped into a wall, no my car is endlessly rolling around while everyone speeds by me. Okay... stop rolling now... RESET YOURSELF SO I CAN CATCH UP.... FUCK THIS SHIT!!!

It actually gets worse after "Fuck this shit", I'm usually swearing the whole time until I catch back up to first place. It doesn't help that the A.I. trash talks at you. Anyways, that's the only game that's had me saying that for a while now.

Most recently? I picked up the first Resistance for a tenner. I got to a bit where there're ten or so of those grey lanky bastards coming up in tubes from the floor, and you have to fight all of them. I killed them, and in the next area, a bunch of regular enemies drill through the wall. I died, and found out I had to fight the roomful of test tube freaks again. I just went "to hell with this" and turned it off. Wasn't enjoying it enough to bother with such monstrous checkpoint spacing.

Killer7. It was some desert level and you had to shoot some giant Heaven's Smile in the eye. I never got past that part for some reason and gave up on the game. Which is a shame because I wanted to see the crazy story to the end.
Easy way to get rid of those things: choose fast character. Run forward. Wait until they start to fall. Run backwards. Watch them explode on the road. Continue with game.

Not that hard to figure out, I'd have thought.

Ninety Nine Nights.
ORCS, TROLLS, ORCS, ORCS WITH A GIANT, ORCS, TROLLS.
Retarded squads that don't follow you when you press the group together button. They do piss all damage and cheer each time they kill something and then ignore the rest of their army. So it lies on you and your invicible but stupid helpers.
I don't know, in 99 nights it didn't bother me. You're kind of the one man army and you don't have to rely on your incompetent helpers. Besides, the more incompetent they get, the more kills for you.
I would like to add that in addition to incompetent allies, there was NO WAY TO SAVE during the missions, some of which could last upwards of 45 minutes. So, after killing about 10,000,000 bad guys, you are finally overwhelmed by the next group, meaning you get to do it all over again.

I got to the third level and said f*ck it.
