All I'd suggest, for the good of the advertisers, and the Escapist, not just the viewers, is a range of ads. If you see the same ad 15 times in a day, I think it's more likely to put you off that product, instead of informing you and attracting you to it, however, 3 views of 5 different products, probably won't bug you as much and you'd be finding out about 5 new things.
I don't feel the OP is really complaining about the ads so much, as the constant repetition of one ad. Some variety would make for more effective ads and less irritation.
