in response to OP, price could be a factor, with a the xbox being cheaper it puts it in the price range of some of the dropkicks of the world, while the ps3 is the relative expensive choice, even though there is not a huge difference between the two price wise. an example is a guy i know who is a real dick, has an Xbox plays it to unwind, abuses people because he can, but he thinks the ps3 is 'too expensive'.

Look, not even 10% of people on XBox Live are arseholes. The problem is, when someone is an arsehole, they're always loud. The other 90% are decent people, but because they're not arseholes they don't have as much to say, so you don't notice them as much.

We all know there are dicks online, there are dicks in real life too. If you have so much of an issue with idiots on Xbox Live, stay in party chat with your friends, or mute people.

It depends on the package that you get. As far as I know the only one that doesn't come with one is the Arcade version which is what I got.The Rainmaker said:

Yeah, most people on Xbox Live are douchebags or 12 year old kids, sadly. However, it's definitely worse in some games than in others. In Halo 3, for instance, people were really bad in my experience. Teamkilling, teabagging, cursing in the voice chat, quitters, I saw it almost every match. While in Team Fortress 2 (which I've been playing a lot lately), people are much more mature and willing to cooperate, and friendly even. I don't know what game(s) you played but maybe you should try some others.
