recently my dad approached me and gave me a case contained a very old Italian revolver...now here's the choice....the revolver is in pretty bad condition and would be very hard to clean up and make usable again. on the other hand i could sell it for quite a bit and buy a new revolver...i like the Italian model but i don't want a gun the does not function and is unusable in my pistol collection. i welcome your suggestions.
One other thing to consider is that restoring some antiques can significantly decrease the resale value. Step one with anything vintage is to get it professionally appraised by at least two different people.
