I have Duke Nukem Forever: Balls of Steel Edition.

As far as I'm concerned, the duke need not be top notch next gen shooter experience. It simply needs to be a fun romp shooting aliens in the face.

It delivers on the first part, it is quite fun. But so far no F bombs.

The thing is, I was bored to death with this generation of shooters. So this thing has been a lot of fun. Just the fact that enemies actually flank and rush you is impressing me, and they're pretty smart!

I've never played a duke game before this, and I like it. Don't know if it's worth $60 though. But you have to be able to take the tongue in cheek dialogue.

Pipe bombs and the like are classed as grenades from what I have played, the Shotgun and Shrinkray are the only things classed as "weapons" out of what you mentioned

I don't think people understand what regenerating health really does from a design standpoint. It lets designers know exactly what state somebody is going to be in when they engage a combat encounter, which greatly affects our ability to balance a fight. The more you know about the state of the player, the more you can tailor the fight accordingly. Regenerating health removes one of the biggest variables up front.

Precisely, but pipe bombs and trip wires are limited to 4 each. Buffs are limited to 1, whichis really annoying!

My Balls of Steel Edition should arrive arrive tomorrow (UK) and I'm looking forward to it. I'm glad the bust is a little smaller as I would have had nowhere to put it in my room If it was huge!
